Welcome

Welcome to the KinderCare in Londonderry, New Hampshire. We have been part of this amazing community since 2001. We pride our center on the relationships we have with our children, families, and our community. Our experts designed our classrooms — and every activity and lesson — to help prepare your child for success in school and beyond. With designated learning centers such as dramatic play and blocks in every classroom, children have the opportunity for rich social play and child-initiated discovery. You’ll also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels, and children’s literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print, we’re helping develop early literacy and writing skills.

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Private Kindergarten Programs (5 – 6 Years)

As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

At the KinderCare of Londonderry our teachers are dedicated to providing a nurturing and learning environment while your children are in our care. We have amazing staff that have been here since we opened in 2001 as well as new center staff that are excited to begin their passion in Early Childhood Education and start building the foundation for our children's early education. The staff show pride in their classrooms and take the opportunity to make every moment a teachable moment. They enjoy showing these moments to families through picture displays of the children's work and daily communication they have with our families. We would love for you to come in for a visit and meet all of the teachers and have the opportunity to see all the excitement for learning they are bringing to their classroom.

April's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Growing Gardens

What better time to explore the beauty and science of flowers and gardens than the spring? Infants’ learning will focus on sensory experiences with different plants and flowers, while toddlers and three-year-olds have the opportunity to learn how to care for plants. We’ll plant seeds in soil, water the plants, observe bugs and discover how they help plants grow, and even plant a butterfly garden outside! We’ll build math skills by counting seeds, learn new vocabulary words related to flowers and plants, and as always, sing songs and read books involving gardens.

Children 4–5 years old: In the Spring + Wild Animals

For children in the Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten Classrooms, April is about exploring all things spring and discovering wild animals! Preschoolers will look for signs of spring outdoors, make mud cakes and count the twigs placed in them, and paint still-life paintings of things related to spring. When our learning turns to wild animals, we’ll learn about the habitats and habits of creatures big and small while maintaining a focus on learning lowercase letters.

The older children in Transitional Kindergarten will focus on project-related work and pick something to work on together. In years past, children have painted a mural, made spring parade floats, painted wild animal masks, and created a model of a wild animal’s habitat. Both of these units focus on expanding the children’s understanding of the natural world around them.

Health and Safety

The health and safety of the children we care for is one of our top priorities. We provide nutritious snacks and meals. Our building has security doors and locked playground gates, thorough sign-in/out procedures and headcount system. We follow a strict cleaning plan to reduce incidences of illness. We have a Health and Safety Coordinator on site as well. Her role is to coordinate fire and disaster drills, check the safety of our building and equipment, as well as making sure that the staff maintains updated First Aid, CPR and other safety trainings

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

We have spent a great amount of time as a part of the Kindercare family, and our children have been enrolled in the Londonderry Kindercare Learning Center for years now.  The center teachers and staff are absolutely amazing and have always made us feel like family, and also have become a part of our family. That says a lot, and isn't something I throw around too lightly.

The center director, Linda, has been putting in the hours and going out of her way to ensure the families of Kindercare are put first and always made to feel individually special. No matter what comes her way, Linda does her best to consider every angle and handle each situation with care and special consideration.

I appreciate the center's structure, but also the flexibility  and ability to adapt to the needs of the children at any point. My children are never tasked with learning; they learn naturally in this environment through routines, and also playful activities that still encourage an extremely diverse learning plan.

Thank you for all you do for us! Our family and the growth of our children does actually depend on you, and we welcome that from you!

- Father
When faced with the daunting task of choosing a day care for my 12-week-old daughter, I looked at countless options in the local area. I kept hoping I would find a place that just felt right for her and for our family. When I walked into Londonderry KinderCare for the first time I got the feeling I’d been searching for. I just knew it was the place for us.
Over two and a half years later, I am still so happy I chose this center for my daughter’s care. The center itself is clean and secure. The staff is warm, loving, accommodating, and extremely patient with the kids. I’ve gotten just as attached to my daughter’s teachers as she has. They really take an interest in each family.
KinderCare has helped my daughter develop a sense of daily structure while fostering many important skills and personality traits. She is encouraged to explore her creativity, hone her gross and fine motor skills, and exercise her mind as well as imagination.
At KinderCare I know the people caring for my child do this type of work because they love it. They bring a sense of joy and humor to every day. It gives me tremendous peace of mind to know that when I can’t be with my daughter she is in good hands at KinderCare.

- Mother

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for making KinderCare a special place for my daughter, Emma. Emma has been going to your center for two years; she started when she was 12 weeks old. Since then, her developmental growth has been outstanding. She has hit every milestone and exceeded in many areas due to the curriculum and teachers that work with her every day. Also, I want to thank you for your support, guidance and encouragement. I am a single working mother and at times have found the balance of work and raising a young child challenging. You and your staff have answered questions, calmed my anxieties and shown me how to take a step back and watch Emma in a different perspective so I could really enjoy the experiences she has at KinderCare with her. As I can never get time back, I can’t express how appreciative I am of these experiences. You and your staff care for Emma and I feel like we are connected as an extended family and not just a “daycare”. For me, this is invaluable. Thank you again for all that you do each day to make our lives exciting, happy and filled with growth!
