Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.
Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.
As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.
At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.
As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.
Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.
Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.
Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.
KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.
The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.
The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.
Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.
Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.
When it comes to keeping you up-to-date with your child's engaging learning experiences, we strive to make our service and communication exceptional. We're always happy to meet and talk about your child's progress at anytime. Our teachers are eager to understand your needs and to serve your child as a unique member of our KinderCare family.
It's important every child thrives here - socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Together, we can do amazing things to prepare your child for what lies ahead!

Stephanie is the assistant director at the South Shore KinderCare and has been with KinderCare Learning Center for over 15 years. Stephanie's first experience in childcare was working with the toddlers and the two-year-old friends, and she believes they have taught her just as much as she has taught them. Stephanie has a true passion for caring for and educating young children and is excited to be a part of your child's first classroom experience.
It is an honor and a joy to build strong relationships with our families and to be an important part of your babies’ development and care.
My goal is to nurture your child’s creativity. I provide paint, crayons, and other tools that promote artistic exploration and creativity; support imaginative play with photo cards and puppets; and encourage self-expression through movement and music. I provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where your infant can explore and make new discoveries. I appreciate you trusting us with your infant's care and education, and I’m committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural for you and your child.
I love watching the children discover and take pride in their latest skill and knowing I will have the opportunity to be a part of those discoveries.
My goal is to create a literacy-rich environment where children enhance their vocabulary through imitation and repetition of words and sentences. We build alphabet recognition through play with letters and writing centers and strengthen conversation skills with group sharing and reading experiences. We support cooperative play; use whole- and small-group activities to model sharing, communication, and cooperation; and demonstrate how to recognize others' feelings and respond appropriately. We support pretend play and role-playing with props and costumes; encourage creative expression through age-appropriate art materials; and stimulate imagination through storytelling and block-building.
I love knowing that I can help strengthen a child’s growth and development while preparing them for school."
My goal is to promote vocabulary development and conversational skills through fun, hands-on experiences. You will see activities such as daily group discussions, fingerplays, songs, and read-alouds, that help children in my classroom develop the fundamental language skills they will continue to build on throughout their lifetimes. For many children, preschool is their first experience in a structured setting with teachers and groups of children. It's an opportunity to learn to share, follow instructions, and begin the foundation for learning that will occur in elementary school.
I provide fun and exciting opportunities for children to learn and grow happy!
My goal is to provide an entertaining and educational classroom for school age children to flourish after school and during spring, winter, and summer camps. Your child will have an opportunity to work on homework during the school season and keep his skills sharp during breaks through my purposeful lessons and activities. Your child can participate in our Classroom Council to stretch his leadership capabilities and develop a sense of ownership in the classroom.
~Our KinderCare Learning Center has been in the SouthShore community for over 20 years. Families choose to enroll their children at our center for our strong education focus, tenured loving staff and our safe and clean center.
Our curriculum has been created specifically for KinderCare Learning Centers and is well received because of its age appropriateness for each class. It is designed with the development of the whole child in mind, to promote their growth socially, physically, emotionally and cognitively. Our staff are very knowledgeable in early childhood development. They are passionate and committed in providing each child with a safe, secure and stimulating environment. Many of our new families have come to us because they were referred by a friend or family member that is very happy with the care that their children receive. We are looking forward to meeting you and your family soon and are confident you will choose us to be your childcare provider!
We observe the following holidays:
Please note that because holidays observed may vary between centers, please be sure to check with your Center Director for specific closures.
Our top priority at KinderCare is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our children, families and staff. We do this through rigorous training and constant assessment and evaluation of proper policies and procedures. Your child’s security begins at the front door, literally. We have a locked security entrance that requires a numeric code to enter. All side doors are kept locked to ensure the security of the exterior of the building. All guests or emergency pick up people are identified and escorted through the building. Of course, our teachers have all cleared local, state and federal background checks, including fingerprinting. We are trained in infant and child CPR and First Aid. We do routine fire, storm and lock-down drills to prepare for the unexpected. Throughout the day, your child will be supervised at all times. No child is ever left unattended, even for a minute. Teachers have all been trained in supervision, discipline and guidance and developmentally appropriate practices to ensure they understand the risks associated with the children in their care. If your child has food allergies or specific medical conditions, we will work with you to ensure your child’s well-being while in our care. We also take the responsibility of your child’s emotional security very seriously. We want every child to feel safe, loved and respected while at KinderCare.
Our staff would like to welcome you to visit our center. The staff takes pride in keeping up to date with the latest trends in Early Childhood Education. Ongoing training is offered to the staff during the year at the center and though the various training opportunities in the community.
