Lila has been with KinderCare since September of 2008. She worked at the Palatine, Arlington Heights and Wheeling locations prior to coming to the Lake Zurich location as Center Director in January of 2014. She is currently working towards her Associates Degree in Education.

Nicole has her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is working towards her last year at Kendall University to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special ED. She hopes to get her Master's in Administration while continuing to grow with the KinderCare family. Nicole has taught multiple age groups throughout the Lake Zurich center and other centers in the district. She also is the lead enrichment specialist for the Learning Adventure program.

Ms. Desiree received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Carthage College. She has had multiple years of experience caring for children of all ages. Desiree began working in the infant and toddler classrooms at the Lake Zurich KinderCare in March of 2012 and has since become the infant lead teacher. She enjoys coming to work each day knowing she is providing the best care possible along with a solid foundation for future education.

Ms. Janell is very excited to be a part of our KinderCare team! She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Dubuque in Iowa. She has had multiple years of experience working with individuals where interactions were based on each person’s learning and communication style. Ms. Janell looks forward to bringing her knowledge and skills into the classroom and showing the children how exciting learning can be!
Ms. Samantha received her Bachelors degree in communication studies in 2007 from Butler University. She has been the children's ministry coordinator since 2010 at Long Grove Community Church. She was a nanny throughout college for two children birth to 5 years old. Samantha started working in a retirement community after college where her grandma still resides. After five years at the retirement community she wanted to find a career working with children once again. She started at KinderCare in late 2012 and has since found her place as the toddler Teacher.

Ms. Kelly received her Bachelor's Degree in Family Services from Eastern Illinois University. She is currently working toward her Master's Degree in Child Development from Erikson. She came to KinderCare in March of 2011 to get experience working with children and fell in love. Ms. Kelly has experience with all ages, but currently teaches two year olds. She loves doing activities with the children to see their development.

Ms. Natalie received her Early Childhood Education degree in 2012 from Millikin University. She worked with children in the Barrington school district prior to starting her career with KinderCare. Ms. Natalie is passionate about teaching and making learning fun. She plays the ukulele and loves bringing it into class to play for the children.

Ms. Lauren started her career at the Lake Zurich KinderCare in 2009. She volunteered part time for about a year being an assistant teacher for the Discovery Preschool and Preschool classrooms. In 2010, she began to work full time and became an assistant teacher for all the classrooms. In February 2013, Ms. Lauren became the lead teacher for the preschool classroom.
Ms. Lauren is attending the College of Lake County her for Associates in Arts Degree. Her focus is on Early Childhood Education and Child Psychology. She has had experience with children by being a nanny for neighbors and family friends since she was sixteen. Ms. Lauren also worked summers at a horse ranch helping and teaching the children how to get ready to ride the horses.

Ms. Heather received her Associate's Degree in 2013 and is continuing her education to get her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kendall College in Chicago, Illinois. She has had experience working with children for about six years now. Ms. Heather started her career with KinderCare in 2013 as a Prekindergarten teacher. She enjoys being a part of the children's lives and hopes to make an impact on them.

Ms. Dorothy received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northeastern Illinois University. She has had experience teaching in the private sector with students in a variety of grade levels. Before joining KinderCare, she served as a substitute teacher in the Lake Zurich public school district.
Dorothy began her career with KinderCare in 2002 as the Kindergarten teacher. During her first year she was named, “Teacher of the Year” at the Lake Zurich Center. She loves working with the children and their families to ensure the best educational experience with an emphasis on a hands-on approach. She resides in Lake Zurich with her husband. They have three grown children.
Ms. Tina is working towards attaining her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University. Prior to Northeastern, Tina received her Associate's Degree of the Arts. She started her career working with kids through being a nanny and tutoring. Following that, she gained experience working in public and private schools with students in a variety of grade levels and abilities. Here she learned how to use a variety of methods to teach and reach each student. Ms. Tina encourages a community of learners and creates class discussions to help build on each child's uniqueness, experiences, and abilities.
