At this center our teachers have over 100 years of combined experience in Education! We are also proud to announce that our School Age teacher Ms. Maria, won the 2014 Knowledge Universe 'Early Childhood Educator of the Year' award! Take a moment to meet everyone!

Jill has been living in the Glen Ellyn area since she was a young child. She attended school within the local Glen Ellyn School District and has a passion for her work in this community. Jill started her career in Education as a Two-year-old teacher, while attending College. She also worked as a Prekindergarten teacher before being promoted to an Assistant Director position. In 2010, a few months after she completed her coursework at Northern Illinois University and received her Bachelors Degree, she was promoted to a Center Director position at this KinderCare location. As a Center Director, Jill works hard to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for new and currently enrolled families in her center.
Before joining KinderCare Jill had experience with Student Teaching in Elementary schools.

Tanya began working with KinderCare in November of 2011 after graduating from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Child Cognition and Development. She began working here as a Discovery Preschool teacher and then as an Infant Teacher before being promoted to an Assistant Director position in October 2012. Tanya enjoys working for a company whose goal is to develop the whole child and one that provides a curriculum that supports the social, physical, emotional and intellectual development of every child, all while having fun and building self esteem! Tanya believes a strong educational foundation is the key to having a successful academic career. If a child has fun while learning, growing and exploring at a young age, they will begin to love learning forever! Tanya has built strong relationships with the children, their families and the staff here at KinderCare Glen Ellyn and she looks forward to working with your family as well!
Tanya has more than ten years of experience working with children of all ages. In high school she was chosen to help run a Preschool program. She has worked as a teacher's aide in the Palatine School District and as a camp counselor in Des Plaines for children ages three to thirteen years. She also has experience teaching swim lessons to children five and under.

Ms. Kayla started at KinderCare Glen Ellyn as the Lead Toddler teacher, after earning her Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was the Lead for 3 years! She loved working with this age group and watching the children as they learned and developed. Ms. Kayla enjoyed doing different art projects and activities that aligned with each month's curriculum theme. She also loved watching the children learn by interacting with each other while in her classroom. Ms. Kayla was promoted to the Assistant Director position in June of 2015. She believes in learning through play and developing academic skills at an early age. She has developed strong relationships with many of the families at the center during her position as a Toddler teacher and she looks forward to developing great relationships with all of the children and families at the center!

Ms. Brittany joined our KinderCare Glen Ellyn team in August of 2013 after graduating with a Bachelors Degree from Valley State University in Michigan. She discovered her passion for Early Childhood development during the ten years of experience she has had working with children of all ages. When Ms. Brittany joined our team, she quickly found her home away from home in the Infant Room. She loves working with the Infants and helping them to develop their basic life skills.
Ms. Brittany has over ten years of experience working with children. She has worked as a teacher and caregiver at a church in her hometown for children of various age groups. She also has experience as a nanny, a tutor, student teaching in College and she has even taught an after school art program for a group of students at an Elementary School.

Ms. Holly has been a lead teacher in the Infant room for eleven years now! She started working at KinderCare Glen Ellyn after earning her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Holly loves working with the Infants each day! She strongly believes in having ongoing communication to help create strong relationships with the parents in her room.

For five years, Ms. Stacy has been a part of the KinderCare Glen Ellyn team. With over a decade of devoted experience in the Education field, she's passionate about the well-being of the children under her care. Acknowledging the importance of adolescent brain development, she's committed to promoting and delivering the educational curriculum KinderCare has to offer.

Ms. Emily joined our KinderCare Glen Ellyn team in November of 2014 as an Infant co-teacher, after graduating with her Bachelor's from Illinois State University. In just a few short months, Ms. Emily moved on to become the Lead Teacher of the Toddler classroom! It was a seemless transition since Ms. Emily was already working so closely with all of the children and families while they were in the Infant classroom! She is very excited to work with the new curriculum and help the children in her room learn at such an important developmental stage of their young lives!

Ms. Stephanie has been a part of the KinderCare Glen Ellyn team since 2011, after receiving her Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University. Ms. Stephanie has previous experience working in after school programs and she has also worked as a Nanny. She started out teaching in a few different classrooms here at KinderCare before finally settling into the Discovery Preschool classroom in late 2011.
Ms. Stephanie has worked in several after school programs and has experience working with two families as a long term Nanny.

Ms. Elaina joined the KinderCare Glen Ellyn team in May 2015 as a teacher in the Discovery Preschool classroom! Prior to working at KinderCare, Ms. Elaina worked at the local YMCA for many years, in various positions. She started there in 2006 in the before and after school program and in 2012 she became a Lead Teacher for the half day Kindergarten program. During her time at the YWCA she also co-directed Summer Camp for the 4th and 5th graders. In December 2014, Ms. Elaina graduated from College of DuPage with her Associate's in Early Childhood. She became interested in working at KinderCare to develop in her Early Childhood Career and to gain more experience with younger age groups.Ms. Elaina is excited to work with the fun and energetic 2 year old class every day!
Ms. Elaina worked at the local YMCA for 9 years before joining the KinderCare Glen Ellyn team!

Ms. Alyssa has been working with young children since she was in High School. When she wasn't babysitting, she was tutoring children during the summer months or working with her Church's Vacation Bible School. Ms. Alyssa attended Aurora University where she earned her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She has worked in a few other smaller centers and with all age groups, but she really feels at home with the Preschool children!
Ms. Alyssa has experience tutoring children during the summer months and she has worked in smaller child care education centers.

Ms. Sonia has been a part of the KinderCare team since 2013. She has prior experience working as a babysitter in High School and has also worked in an Elementary School setting. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associates Credential. Ms. Sonia started working in the Infant and Toddler classrooms at this center but now she works full time in the Preschool classroom with Ms. Alyssa. Since starting in the Preschool room, Ms. Sonia has found that she is most passionate about working with the 3 year old age group!
Ms. Sonia has experience working with young children since High School, when she worked as a babysitter. She also has previous experience assisting in an Elementary School.

Ms. Tammy joined KinderCare in 2007 at the West Chicago center, after earning her Early Childhood Education Certificate. She was a Preschool teacher and then became a Prekindergarten teacher at that center for 6 years! Ms. Tammy joined the Glen Ellyn team in February of 2014. Since then she has worked in all classrooms, driven the School Agers to and from school and also went along on Field Trips! Ms. Tammy took over as the Lead Prekindergarten teacher in June 2015 and she has loved every minute of it! She's excited to have her own classroom again and to be able to work with her children on a daily basis.
Ms. Tammy worked at the West Chicago KinderCare for 7 years before joining the Glen Ellyn KinderCare team. She has also worked at a local Elementary school as a lunchroom supervisor.

Ms. Maria has been devotedly working as a teacher in this area for more than 30 years! She has been engaged in teaching and nurturing children ever since she was a young adult. After receiving her Degree with honors, Ms. Maria was offered a teaching position in the public schools for seven years, as a Speech and Language Pathologist. After nearly a decade of teaching, Ms. Maria stayed at home to raise her son until it was time for him to begin his Preschool adventures here in Glen Ellyn. In a very short time, she became a teacher on staff and has been passionate about her job here ever since. Ms. Maria forms close relationships and a great rapport with the children and their families. She thoroughly works with the curriculum and modifies it to meet each child's individual needs. She believes each child learns in their own unique way. Ms. Maria feels inspired for each new day that she is able to watch children grow, learn, experience self-worth, confidence and joy! Ms. Maria was recently honored with the 2014 Knowledge Universe 'Early Childhood Educator of the Year' Award!
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Maria spent seven years as a Speech correctionist in Public Schools.

Ms. Nicole joined the KinderCare Glen Ellyn team in June 2013 while attending Northern Illinois University. She recently graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Family and Child Studies in May 2015. She has experience working in all of the classrooms here at KinderCare and has recently been a co-teacher in the School Age classroom for Summer Camp. Ms. Nicole is dedicated to working with the children in every classroom. She's excited to come to work each day to enjoy the different experiences and interactions each room has to offer!

Ms. Ariel joined our KinderCare Glen Ellyn team in April of 2015. She worked for years as a nanny and she also worked at an Early Childhood center in Warrenville before starting at KinderCare.She loves the opportunity to work in all of the classrooms and to develop relationships with all of the kids in the center. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate's Certificate to advance in her Early Childhood career.
Prior to joining KinderCare Glen Ellyn, Ms. Ariel worked as a nanny and also worked at another Early Childhood center in Warrenville.

Ms. Donna joined the KinderCare Glen Ellyn team in March 2014 as a cook and as an Assistant Teacher in all classrooms. She recently earned her Childhood Development Associate's Certificate in May 2015. Ms. Donna enjoys working with all age groups especially the Discovery Preschool classroom! Prior to working at KinderCare, Ms. Donna worked at an Early Childhood Center in Iowa. She has over 15 years experience in Early Childhood Development. Ms. Donna loves working with children of all ages, watching them learn and develop their skills. Ms. Donna hopes to have a classroom of her own one day!
