Jill has been living in the Glen Ellyn area since she was a young child. She attended school within the local Glen Ellyn School District and has a passion for her work in this community. Jill started her career in Education as a Two-year-old teacher, while attending College. She also worked as a Prekindergarten teacher before being promoted to an Assistant Director position. In 2010, a few months after she completed her coursework at Northern Illinois University and received her Bachelors Degree, she was promoted to a Center Director position at this KinderCare location. As a Center Director, Jill works hard to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for new and currently enrolled families in her center.
Before joining KinderCare Jill had experience with Student Teaching in Elementary schools.

Tanya began working with KinderCare in November of 2011 after graduating from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Child Cognition and Development. She began working here as a Discovery Preschool teacher and then as an Infant Teacher before being promoted to an Assistant Director position in October 2012. Tanya enjoys working for a company whose goal is to develop the whole child and one that provides a curriculum that supports the social, physical, emotional and intellectual development of every child, all while having fun and building self esteem! Tanya believes a strong educational foundation is the key to having a successful academic career. If a child has fun while learning, growing and exploring at a young age, they will begin to love learning forever! Tanya has built strong relationships with the children, their families and the staff here at KinderCare Glen Ellyn and she looks forward to working with your family as well!
Tanya has more than ten years of experience working with children of all ages. In high school she was chosen to help run a Preschool program. She has worked as a teacher's aide in the Palatine School District and as a camp counselor in Des Plaines for children ages three to thirteen years. She also has experience teaching swim lessons to children five and under.

Ms. Brittany joined our KinderCare Glen Ellyn team in August of 2013 after graduating with a Bachelors Degree from Valley State University in Michigan. She discovered her passion for Early Childhood development during the ten years of experience she has had working with children of all ages. When Ms. Brittany joined our team, she quickly found her home away from home in the Infant Room. She loves working with the Infants and helping them to develop their basic life skills.
Ms. Brittany has over ten years of experience working with children. She has worked as a teacher and caregiver at a church in her hometown for children of various age groups. She also has experience as a nanny, a tutor, student teaching in College and she has even taught an after school art program for a group of students at an Elementary School.
"I find it amazing how individual the babies all are! They all have their own little personalities, feelings, giggles and most adorable expressions!"
Ms. Holly has been a lead teacher in the Infant room for eleven years now! She started working at KinderCare Glen Ellyn after earning her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Holly loves working with the Infants each day! She strongly believes in having ongoing communication to help create strong relationships with the parents in her room.

For five years, Ms. Stacy has been a part of the KinderCare Glen Ellyn team. With over a decade of devoted experience in the Education field, she's passionate about the well-being of the children under her care. Acknowledging the importance of adolescent brain development, she's committed to promoting and delivering the educational curriculum KinderCare has to offer.
Ms. Stacy has ten years of experience working with Children who have Special Needs

Ms. Kayla has worked at KinderCare Glen Ellyn for almost two years as the Lead Toddler teacher, after earning her Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She loves working with this age group and watching the children as they learn and develop. Ms. Kayla enjoys doing different art projects and activities that align with each month's curriculum theme. She also loves watching the children learn by interacting with each other while in her classroom.

Ms. Sonia has been a part of the KinderCare team since 2013. She has prior experience working as a babysitter in High School and has also worked in an Elementary School setting. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associates Credential. Ms. Sonia started working in the infant room but has recently settled into our Toddler Room and she's enjoying every minute of it!
Ms. Sonia has experience working with young children since High School, when she worked as a babysitter. She also has previous experience assisting in an Elementary School.

Ms. Lisa started her career with KinderCare at the Winfield location as a Two-year-old teacher and soon after she was promoted to an Assistant Director position. In 2011, Ms. Lisa moved to the Addison location, where she continued her duties as an Assistant Director. She enjoyed working in her position but truly missed working with children in the classroom. So in 2012, she transferred to Glen Ellyn to become a teacher again. Ms. Lisa is very happy to be working directly with children on a daily basis again!
Prior to starting with KinderCare, Ms. Lisa worked with a Head Start location and at a Military Child Development Center.
"I am so happy to be working in a classroom where I can be a consistent part of each child's growth and development at such an exciting stage in their life. I am also so grateful to have a job that allows me to have fun and see so many smiling faces every day!"
Ms. Stephanie has been a part of the KinderCare Glen Ellyn team since 2011, after receiving her Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University. Ms. Stephanie has previous experience working in after school programs and she has also worked as a Nanny. She started out teaching in a few different classrooms here at KinderCare before finally settling into the Discovery Preschool classroom in late 2011.
Ms. Stephanie has worked in several after school programs and has experience working with two families as a long term Nanny.
"What better way is there to spend a work day than with a class full of smiling, happy faces. I love knowing that every day I get to teach and share my love of learning with them!"
Ms. Alyssa has been working with young children since she was in High School. When she wasn't babysitting, she was tutoring children during the summer months or working with her Church's Vacation Bible School. Ms. Alyssa attended Aurora University where she earned her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She has worked in a few other smaller centers and with all age groups, but she really feels at home with the Preschool children!
Ms. Alyssa has experience tutoring children during the summer months and she has worked in smaller child care education centers.
"I love my teaching job because I get to see and hear the children learn. I was a child who struggled in school from an early age. I do not want any child to experience what I went through. I want the best for every child that comes into my classroom. I make sure that learning is a positive experience for them everyday. Watching their progress brings me joy because it is proof that they did not struggle and they had FUN!"
Ms. Barbara has been the Lead Teacher in the Prekindergarten room for many years now. She works hard to implement the curriculum and to keep every student engaged in her classroom. Ms. Barbara is very creative and she tries hard to ensure that the children are having fun while learning. She has great communication with her families and they really appreciate the passion she has for working with her students.
Ms. Barbara has previous experience with Student teaching in Elementary Schools and Substitute teaching.
"I truly enjoy balancing learning experiences with a caring and nurturing environment for each child. When the children and their families go home happy and satisfied… DITTO! I sincerely aim to please and yes I adore my job, as I truly treasure the children."
Ms. Maria has been devotedly working as a teacher in this area for more than 30 years! She has been engaged in teaching and nurturing children ever since she was a young adult. After receiving her Degree with honors, Ms. Maria was offered a teaching position in the public schools for seven years, as a Speech and Language Pathologist. After nearly a decade of teaching, Ms. Maria stayed at home to raise her son until it was time for him to begin his Preschool adventures here in Glen Ellyn. In a very short time, she became a teacher on staff and has been passionate about her job here ever since. Ms. Maria forms close relationships and a great rapport with the children and their families. She thoroughly works with the curriculum and modifies it to meet each child's individual needs. She believes each child learns in their own unique way. Ms. Maria feels inspired for each new day that she is able to watch children grow, learn, experience self-worth, confidence and joy!
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Maria spent seven years as a Speech correctionist in Public Schools.
