The teachers at Paseo Padre KinderCare are passionate about education and nurturing children. Our teachers have an average of sixteen years experience in the Early Childhood Education field. Our teachers are fully qualified by State Standards, and most have an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. The Paseo Padre KinderCare strives for excellence through continuing education from biannual company professional development trainings to seeking additional college courses or seminars in the education field. At the end of the day, the true key to our teachers' success is their passion for teaching.

Cynthia, or Syndee, as we all know her, began working at the KinderCare on Paseo Padre in Fremont in 1986. She has been working with young children since 1978. Syndee has completed 48 units in Early Childhood Education. She was a teacher for thirteen years, then became an Assistant Director, and in 1998 was promoted to Center Director. Syndee and her team achieved accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children twice and they are currently in the accreditation process again. Her goal as the Director is to support the staff to provide a safe, clean, happy, educational environment for the children.
Prior to becoming Center Director, Syndee was a teacher for 13 years, then became an Assistant Director, and then was promoted in 1998.
Janet is the Assistant Director and the Math Adventures teacher at the Paseo Padre KinderCare. She began working with children in 1981 and chose to work with children to help them form a solid beginning to their lives. Janet attended Chabot Community College in California, and has completed 35.5 units in Early Childhood Education. She has enjoyed working with children from Infant to Prekindergarten age. What inspires her most is when she introduces a new concept to the children and the happiness they show when they understand that concept, gaining new knowledge!

Ms. Adriana has a real passion for working with infants. She understands how important it is to be engaged with them and to guide them with love, respect, and good values. She is always talking with them, singing to them, and encouraging them, while caring for them.
Ms. Adriana has three years of experience working as an Infant and Toddler teacher.
"I love this age group because it is so special! I walk into the classroom in the morning and my babies crawl over to greet me! They make me feel special, and inspire me."
Ms. Gurdeep cares very much about keeping children safe, and parents happy. She aims to create an open, honest relationship with parents. She is always encouraging her infants as they grow and learn.
Ms. Gurdeep has done volunteer work at a Montessori School.
"I love my job because I work with the most pure and innocent human beings. I love this age group, it is like being in a garden, and each child represents a unique flower with it's own characteristics."
Ms Rosie has a passion for infants and toddlers. She has become an expert over the past 18 years of nurturing and caring for our littlest ones. She is a very patient, nurturing, loving caregiver, and knows how to create a bright, fun, and safe environment for babies.
"I love working with children, they make me smile! Being a teacher and a parent helps me understand how other parents feel leaving their child for the day."
Ms Maria is a warm and gentle teacher. She treats the children the way she would want any teacher to treat her children. She wants parents to feel comfortable going to work and not worry about their child. That is why she goes the extra mile to comfort and care for the children.
Has worked with young children at other child care centers, beginning in 2007.
"I love my job because I love watching the children grow and develop."
Ms. Nakisha loves watching the toddler children grow and develop. Her background working with other providers helps bring creativity and excitement to the classroom. She has been in the Early Childhood Education field for over 15 years.
Prior to joining KinderCare, Ms. Nakisha taught for three years at Willow Elementary, nine years at Kidango and several years at other childcare providers.
"I love my job because they are grasping all the knowledge when I teach them."
Ms. Shakieba loves teaching the toddlers and seeing all they learn. She understands this is an age where they absorb everything so she works with each child to help them grow. She takes her job seriously as she tries to meet each child at their individual level and needs.
"I love seeing and hearing the children learn and grow. I love knowing I am making a positive impact in children's lives. I could not be happier doing anything else!"
It is important to Ms. Brittani to see the children learning new things. Keeping them challenged and staying one step ahead of them is a priority. She believes teachers and children learn from each other, and nothing could be more rewarding.
Ms Brittani was a swim school instructor for one year and a nanny for three years.
"I love seeing the excitement of children's faces when they achieve or accomplish something new. I feel great when children come into the classroom feeling comfortable with all the teachers and other children. That is my goal when a new child enters our room."
Ms. Cheryl has over 20 years experience in early childhood education. She is great at working with parents to keep them informed of their child's daily growth and development. Her goal is to be sure every child is comfortable in the classroom and other working with other children. Being comfortable gives the children the confidence to explore and work on their independence.
Ms. Cheryl taught for 18 years with a home daycare prior to joining KinderCare.
"I love my job because I enjoy every bit of teaching, and being around young children. I enjoy making a difference in children's lives, and sharing my experiences."
Ms. Mariam is also a mom of young children, and knows first hand what her parents are experiencing. Whether it is the first time you have left your child, or you have a very busy child. She understands, like most of our teachers, she has been through it too. She is kind and caring! A very nurturing teacher.
Ms. Mariam has worked in the Community college Early childhood Lab.
"My favorite part of the day is circle time! Every day we have a topic of discussion and the children are very excited to listen and learn. I feel proud giving knowledge to a new generation."
Ms. Kusum has a lot of passion for children. She is enthusiastic about her work! When she leaves school at the end of the day, she knows she has done her job well, and is full of love from her children.
"My favorite part about this classroom is being able to teach the children to prepare them for the next level of education. I love my job because when I enter the classroom each day and the children start to smile at me and start walking towards me to give me hugs. I love this age group because they are fun, loving, and full of joy. I love listening to their stories and laughter with them. And, I love watching them pretend to by Ms. Lala while they are reading stories."
Ms. Lala has worked for KinderCare for over 25 years. She is always looking for ways to be a better teacher to her preschool and prekindergarten children. After 25 years, Ms. Lala's favorite part of teaching is still coming to work each day and the children greet her with hugs and smiles. The joy and love children at this age have is why she loves this age group.
"My favorite part about this classroom is being able to work with teachers who are supportive. I love my job because everyday is like an adventure. There's never a dull moment. We are always learning from each other. I love this age group because children at this age are very curious and love to learn about new things and adventures."
Ms. Anne brings teamwork and customer service to the preschool class. She not only loves working with the children, but also the other preschool teachers and parents. While the teachers present lessons to the children, the teachers also learn from each other. This encourages Ms. Anne to be a better teacher, continually growing to better serve the children and their parents.
"My favorite part is that everyday is different and unique. I love my job because it is fun, and the children are enthusiastic. I love this age group because I'm look forward to being apart of childrens' futures; setting the foundation for their education."
Ms. Fatemah loves working in the preschool classroom because every day is different. She knows the preschool class is very important in setting the foundation for learning. She brings an enthusiastic attitude every day to bring out the best in each child.
Ms. Fatemeh taught for two years at a Montessori and worked for four years as a nurse prior to joining KinderCare.
"I love this age group! The children come to hug you with those big smiles! The children love to sing songs and love to join you at the art center. They love sharing their stories with you, and I am glad to be part of their growth and development."
Ms. Sulo's experience and background in Early Childhood Education makes her a real pro in teaching young children. She also shares her special talents as a yoga instructor with her class! The children enjoy Ms. Sulo's circle time every day!
Ms. Sulo has worked as a preschool teacher as well as an administrator, in other preschools in Fremont.
"I enjoy this age group because they are starting to learn so much and play is so important to them."
Ms. Wanda transferred from a KinderCare in Washington to this center. With her KinderCare background she is able to bring a fresh ideas to this location. Working with toddlers and their parents from across the West Coast she is familiar with different learning styles and works with each family individually.
Ms. Wanda used to teach at a KinderCare in Washington.
"I love my job. Working with children warms my heart. Children are such eager learners and being a teachers allows me to support their growth and development. Not only do I create a loving and careing relationshiop with the children in my class, but also the parents!"
Ms. Daniela feels her education allows her to be a caring and understanding teacher. In addition, she believes her calm and caring nature allows her to support the children's emotional self. She not only loves working with the children, but their parents too. She wants to support the families in the growth of their child.
Ms. Daniela worked for City of Fremont as a teacher in the "Tiny Tots Program" and as a ceramics teacher for nine and a half years prior to joining KinderCare.
"I love this age group because it is fun to teach because they are so more independent."
One of Ms. Krishna's strengths as a prekindergarten teacher is encouraging the children. She realizes this is an important age as the children prepare for kindergarten. Everyday she encourages the children to be independent and have fun learning.
Before joining KinderCare, Ms. Krishna taught at a Gospel Kindergarten and a YMCA.
"My favorite part about this classroom is it gives me an opportunity to give and make a difference in the life of an individual. Big hugs, smiles, and good morning greeting from children under by care inspire me to come to work each day!"
Ms. Priya demonstrates excellent relationships with her parents by talking to the parents of every child in her class to keep them updated about their child's activities and progress on an everyday basis. Often, she have goes over and beyond her call of duty to fulfill the needs of children and their parents under her care. She also works on each and every child's individual level and need.
Ms. Priya worked as an elementary school teacher in India prior to joining KinderCare.
"I love this age because I get to watch them grow and mature throughout the school year. Their personal accomplishments are the most amazing to experience. It touches my heart and soul."
Ms Veronica has been teaching at the KinderCare on Paseo Padre in Fremont since 1976. The Prekindergarten group is her favorite to work with. Ms Veronica knows how to make learning fun! Each day is a special day in her classroom.
"I enjoy working with preschoolers and teaching them to read! They are old enough to express themselves and can tell you what they are thinking."
Ms Wanda opens our center, and also works with the infants in the mornings. Wanda Is our Education Specialist. She teachers the phonics enrichment class. She teaches our children to read and makes learnig so much fun!
