AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Monthly Activities

February's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Feelings + The Farm

This month, infants and toddlers will explore a very important aspect of human development: feelings. Babies are just beginning to develop a sense of who they are in relation to others, while toddlers are learning how to interact with those around them. Feelings are integral to human interaction, so activities will focus on identifying emotions (like happy, sad, and mad). We’ll read books, paint a mural, sing songs, and play games related to emotions and how we express them.

The children in Discovery Preschool will take their learning to the farm! Farms are filled with so many science- and social science-based learning opportunities that children love. They’ll learn all about barns and farming equipment, which animals are raised on a farm, and which crops are grown there, too.

Children 4–5 years old: Occupations and Dinosaurs

The older children in Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten will spend time on two very popular themes: occupations and (roar!) dinosaurs. We’ll focus on learning about jobs that help people, like doctors, and those that inspire, like artists and musicians. As children learn about these occupations, they’ll play dress up, invent things, create charts and graphs, and learn the Spanish words for different jobs. The dinosaur unit gives them a chance to learn more about these fascinating giant creatures, learn about fossils, explore volcanoes, and do math puzzles with pretend dino eggs!

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

Our Team at your Englewood KinderCare Learning Center is always available and ready to answer your questions about your child's growth and development. Our teachers are passionate about every child's happiness and educational experiences. When you come for your visit, you will be introduced to your young learners teachers and see their classrooms. Our teachers are anxious to meet your little one and to give them all the resources they need to reach their highest potential. Please take the time to get to know our teachers by reading their biographies below.

Health and Safety

Health and Safety is one of the biggest priorities here at your Englewood KinderCare. We have a secure entrance with a coded key pad for use to enter our learning center.  A written authorization must be on file at the center for your child's release to anyone. Anyone who does not normally pick up your child will be identified per their state issued identification.  During all times of operation, at least two of our staff members are trained in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse recognition, and Communicable Disease.  The safety of your child is our top priority.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

We want to say "Thank you" to the teachers in the infant classroom.  We know your job can be stressful.  But, we always appreciate you taking time out of your day to hang out and cuddle our little boy.  Thank you Ms. Courtney for being so helpful and considerate with our family.

- Parents

I have been with KinderCare for 10 years and would  not change it.  I have 6 children that go to the KinderCare Learning Center and they all love going there!  I have 5 children in the school age classroom and one in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom  The teachers are very patient with my youngest son with his learning disabilities.  The Learning Center is part of our family, because it takes a villiage to raise children and I am so very thankful for all of their help.  Ms. Chantell, Ms. Stacey, Ms. Tammy and all of the other teachers have been terrific and I appreciate their help with raising my "Little Monsters."   :)

- Parent

I was a stay at home mom for 3 years.  So, when I first brought my daughter to KinderCare, I was beyond nervous and scared and worried about who was raising her all day.  After a few months of getting to know her teachers, I was completely relieved and very excited for her new journey!  I love that I can leave her knowing she is being cared for just as if I were there.  Her teachers have been such a blessing for our family!

My daughter Emily is learning acceptable social behaviors and she loves the learning activities.  We both really enjoy her being at the Englewood KinderCare!

As the fathof two kids, it is great coming to a place where the kids love to be and they really love their teachers!

I wanted to give a big "Thank You" to the teachers at KinderCare.  They have provided childcare for my daughter for over 4 years and have done a great job!

Peyton seems to have adjusted well over time.  He looks forward to coming to school to see his friends and his teachers.

I've had three children who are currently attending this KinderCare Learning Center.  They love coming and learning.  The teachers have always treated my kids like their own family.  I have never had any concerns about leaving my children with such caring and wonderful teachers.

I love KinderCare!  My daughters teachers are awesome!.  We have always felt welcome there.  She learns so much during the 2 years that she has attended.  I wouldn't have her go anywhere else.  Big shout out to Ms. Tammy and Ms. Chantell for everything they do.  Whenever I felt uncomfortable with things or didn't understand, they always helped us to feel comfortable and wanted.  They help teach all of the kids their ABC's, their numbers and good manners.  I highly recommend this Learning Center to anyone looking!

The staff at KinderCare has been so amazing!  They have been very welcoming to me and to my daughter for the past 6 years.  My daughter has nothing but fond memories for all of her teachers.  She loves and adores Ms. Chantell and Ms. Tammy so much!  She already misses them and is looking forward to visiting them soon.  Thank you KinderCare for an awesome 6 years!
