The teachers and staff at the Elmhurst KinderCare are passionate about educating and nurturing children. Our teachers have an average tenure of five to 10 years at our center. (We have three staff members with 18 plus years with KinderCare) The majority of our teachers have their Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Childhood Development Associates Credential. The Elmhurst KinderCare team strives for excellence through continuing education from bi-annual company professional development trainings to seeking additional college courses or seminars in the education field. At the end of the day, the true key to our teachers' success is their passion for teaching and their love of learning.
"I would like to thank you in advance for the trust and confidence you place in KinderCare. I look forward to the opportunity to love, care, and teach your children during their time with us. I'm extremely happy to be a part of your KinderCare family and I look forward to investing as much as she can to create a fun, loving and educational environment."

Lisa's professional accomplishments began in 1997 as a teacher’s aide while attending college. Once she earned her degree in Applied Science in Early Childhood Lisa became an on-site director for a before and after school program at the YMCA for about two years. She was also the preschool and kindergarten director of a day care in Northlake. Lisa comes with over 15 years of experience working with children and is, herself, a mother of three. Her focus is on providing quality programming and exceptional service to you and your children, leading a staff of dedicated teachers, and ensuring overall that your family is provided the highest quality of care and education.
Prior to joining KinderCare, Lisa worked as a teacher's aide while attending college and was a director for a before and after school program for the YMCA for about two years.

Stacey knew from an early age that she wanted to work with young children. She spent much of her teen years volunteering at programs such as Safety Town and assisted in teaching a babysitting course offered by the local fire department. While attending college, she would spend every summer working at the Park District Preschool Summer program. Upon graduating from college with her Bachelor of Arts Degree, she worked as a substitute teacher in a public school until she joined the KinderCare family in 1994. She has been a teacher in every age segment and has loved them all. In 2001 Stacey became an Assistant Director at KinderCare in Elk Grove Village and has worked at our Elmhurst location since 2005.
Prior to joining KinderCare, Stacey worked as a substitute teacher.
