Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.
Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.
As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.
As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.
Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.
As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.
The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.
Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.
Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.
Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. Qué pasa?
Two times each year we dedicate a day for our staff's professional development to further their training and better equip them for the care of your child. The center will be closed on this day for training to occur. If you have questions or would like to request further details, please contact your local Center Director.
Our center is closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after.

A good teacher is a doctor, who heals ignorance and an artist who inspires creativity.
I have worked at R.L.A.C.C. as the program speacialist. I have been with KinderCare for about two years now. I previously worked at another child care as a pre-kindergarten teacher and I was there for five years. I have a BA in early child development and I plan to continue my education to obtain my Masters Degree.
The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book.
My name is Esmerealda Acosta, I'm married and I have five children. My oldest child is 33 years old and my youngest is 12 years old. I love chidlren and I need to have them in my life. I was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador and have been living here in California for 25 years. I obtained my child development education at East Los Angeles College.
I love teaching young children because it's one of the best, most deeply satisfying experiences in the world. I am inspired by the idea that I'm providing an education to our future.
I attended Migueleño Institute in San Miguel, El Salvador. In 1990, I decided to continue my education in Cerritos College by picking up some ESL classes. I love to teach because children are naturally curious. I enjoy seeing how they explore the world with all their senses. I love children. This will be my passion forever.
Without teachers, life would have no class.
It takes a big heart to help shape little minds.
I completed my student teaching hours at child development center in Pasadena. I received my AA in child development. I then transferred to Pacific Oaks College and received my Bachelors Degree in Human Development. I have been working with children for about five years and enjoy my field.
The influence of a good teacher can never be erased.

The influence of a good teacher can never be erased.
I love seeing their happy faces when they learn to spell and write their names. Also when they are excited in learning and discovering something new.
I started teaching at Youth Develpment Program (YDP) in September 2007, when I heard of the KinderCare program had an opening teaching position I was excited about joining the team. I love what KinderCare represents especially, their curriculum that is given to the children and the opportunities that KinderCare offers to their employees and I applied. I have been with KinderCare since 02/2008 and I love it!
I'm changing the world one day at a time.
Ms. Ibeth is inspired to come to work each day by the children's smiles and the joy of seeing her come in the door.
My favorite part of teaching is helping children learn and try new things, knowing that I make a difference in their lives. I am inspired to come to work knowing that once I do, there will always be smiles and hugs waiting for me.
