AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Monthly Activities

February's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Feelings + The Farm

This month, infants and toddlers will explore a very important aspect of human development: feelings. Babies are just beginning to develop a sense of who they are in relation to others, while toddlers are learning how to interact with those around them. Feelings are integral to human interaction, so activities will focus on identifying emotions (like happy, sad, and mad). We’ll read books, paint a mural, sing songs, and play games related to emotions and how we express them.

The children in Discovery Preschool will take their learning to the farm! Farms are filled with so many science- and social science-based learning opportunities that children love. They’ll learn all about barns and farming equipment, which animals are raised on a farm, and which crops are grown there, too.

Children 4–5 years old: Occupations and Dinosaurs

The older children in Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten will spend time on two very popular themes: occupations and (roar!) dinosaurs. We’ll focus on learning about jobs that help people, like doctors, and those that inspire, like artists and musicians. As children learn about these occupations, they’ll play dress up, invent things, create charts and graphs, and learn the Spanish words for different jobs. The dinosaur unit gives them a chance to learn more about these fascinating giant creatures, learn about fossils, explore volcanoes, and do math puzzles with pretend dino eggs!

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Dance

Teachers & Staff

We feel we have put together an amazing group of teachers to lead your children down a successful academic path. Our teachers have been with us between one and 12 years. They all have 12 units of Early Child Education classes. Their education levels range from working on their Associate of Arts to earning a Bachelor of Science in Child Development or Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood. Our teachers are loving and nurturing, and provide a safe and comfortable learning environment. They have a true passion for teaching that shows in all they do.

Children are the world's greatest asset, commodity, treasure and gift. It is important for children to BE just that.

Ms. Oge has been with KinderCare for over 35 years. She was raised next door to a daycare. Her mom always babysat for family and friends. That created a love for children. She learned early on that little people are just cool. Ms. Oge enjoys working with children because she thinks it's awesome when they discover a new task. The "awe" feeling of achievement they have is priceless. Children are very bright, curious and very hands on. If you set up a classroom with learning tools and allow children to experience things, they will show you the intelligence they have. Ms. Oge hopes to help them grow into healthy, happy people with a love for school and an eagerness for learning. When children are not impacting her life and vice versa, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Health and Safety

The health and safety of your child is always our main concern. We are always making sure we follow the regulations set out for our center by the State of California and KinderCare Education. Our center has a keypad entry so only authorized people are let into the building. We will also ask for a picture ID for everyone who isn't familiar to the staff or center management. All of our playgrounds are fenced in. The Toddler and Multi-Age Playgrounds have shaded areas as well as padding under and around the play structure. The School-Age playground has large tress which provide plenty of shade during the summer. We always have at least one, if not more CPR and First Aid certified teachers in the building at all times. Our center has a Health and Safety Coordinator who is in charge of making sure everything in the center is working properly and does routine fire, natural disaster, and lock down drills. As a center, we work together to keep your child safe and healthy while in our care.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

My children have been with KinderCare for the past four years. We started with my oldest daughter when she was an infant, and now we are pleased to enroll our second daughter. We love the facility, the staff and the management team; they are all great people! They do so much for the children and really care about their education. I love knowing there is a curriculum for my infant. These early years are so important and it is comforting to know a single second isn’t being wasted. As a teacher, I find it amazing to know they are following Common Core like my school district. It will make for a much easier transition for my children when they go to elementary school. Great things are always happening at KinderCare and I can’t imagine taking my girls anywhere else!

- Father

I couldn’t be happier with KinderCare and the AMAZING management team and the staff that are with my children. They take the time to not only make my children feel welcomed every day, but me as well. The teachers make them feel so comfortable at drop off and have them so eager to come back in the morning. As a working mom, it is hard to be away from your children all day, but the teachers are so good at filling me in on their day. I know I could call anytime and get an update on my children and what they have been doing. I love knowing when I drop in to visit they are still warm and loving towards all the children. These things help me feel more connected to my children throughout the day. The staff is always ready and willing to help me with whatever I may need. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I LOVE my KinderCare center!

- Mother

I couldn’t imagine having my child anywhere else. The wonderful staff at KinderCare is so good with my son! He is so happy to go to school every day. He even wants to go on the weekends! I know that my son is in good hands when I drop him off in the morning. He has so much fun with his friends and teachers. Everyone takes the time to not only talk to him, but to talk to me as well. I have great relationships with all of the teachers and feel 100% comfortable with them. KinderCare is an amazing center! I will never leave!

- Mother

I am a proud single mother of two, and having my children in a safe, clean and hands on daycare has always been my priority. Since my children’s enrollment about seven months ago I have seen an enormous amount of improvement in their learning and socializing skills. The things I love the most about KinderCare are the positive and friendly staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and their curriculum that allows my children to grasp and attain knowledge in every area of study. I wouldn’t want my children at any other facility. Thank you KinderCare for all that you do!
