Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

  • Genita Haliburton

    Genita Haliburton, Assistant Director

When I first started with KinderCare I had two intentions: first to find a "job" that would allow me to take my then young daughter with me and second to make some extra money. I never imagined 24 years later my "job" would become a career that I love! In the last 24 years, I have worn many hats which have given me a wealth of knowledge and a first hand understanding of how important each role every staff member plays to make sure your child has the best learning experience that will remain with them throughout their early years.
My duties include assisting with the daily operations of the center in addition to doing what I love the most, interacting with the children. I take great pride in knowing that I play an important part in making sure that Clementon KinderCare gives you the best experience that any learning center has to offer.
Since becoming the Assistant Director in Clementon, my love for children has grown even more which I didn't think was possible. I want nothing more than to help my director, Jenn, create a safe, fun, healthy learning atmosphere for every child that comes through our door. Trusting your child with people you don't know is not an easy thing to do, but I promise that once you enter our center, you will feel a sense of peace. I do not want the staff to be thought of as just your child's teacher, but as a family. I want every parent to leave for their busy day at work with a complete peace of mind knowing in no uncertain terms that their child is being well taken care of and having fun while learning! I can honestly say Jenn and I strive every day to make sure that feeling is accomplished. You will not be disappointed!

    Ms. Marquetta, Floater

My desire to make a difference in children's lives is the reason I love what I do! Seeing their reaction when I teach them something new is priceless. It feels good knowing I taught them something new. It is also rewarding to see them try different things on their own. I am currently taking courses to obtain my Child Development Associates and I am taking college classes in Early Childhood Education. I am able to use what I have learned thus far everyday. My goal in life is to brighten the minds of the children I teach on a daily basis.
I think I have the best position in the building. Being a floater allows me to experience each age group! Each day is just like my first day! Just like the children, I too learn something new each day.
Clementon KinderCare has qualified teachers that are 100% interested in your child/ren's education and well being. Why wouldn't you want your family to be a part of something so amazing?

    Ms. Katie, Toddler Classroom

Toddlerhood is one of the most exciting times in a child's life. Everything is a new experience and is opportunity to explore. In the toddler classroom, each moment of play and discovery becomes its own lesson. Through earing my Bachelor"s Degree in Elementary Education, I learned every moment is a chance for a child to grow and learn. Through raising my own children I have learned that children learn with their whole bodies. From augmenting communication by learning simple sign language to delighting the senses with independent sensory play, the children in my class are given a plethora of opportunities to confidence in their growing abilities.
My goal each and every day is for my class to have fun discovering the world around them whether it be squishing dirt or learning to share. Through this shared learning adventure we become more than just a class: we become an extension of family.
Come join our family and see how many ways your child's world grows!

  • Ms. Kate

    Ms. Kate, Discovery Preschool Classroom

Dicovery Preschool is a classroom where children are absorbing so much and using their new abilities everyday. The children are reaching self-help milestones everyday, such as potty training, serving themselves meals and putting on their coats. The implementation of my curriculum is to help grow the children to be as and independent as appropriate.

I have earned my Child Development Associates and use the skills and knowledge I learned during the process in my classroom. These skills and knowledge include: child development, appropriate practices, health and safety as well as everything the children teach me everyday.

Every experience and activity in my classroom is full of new discovery. The children develop quickly and it is a pleasure and very rewarding for me to be a part of that.

    Ms. Sam, Preschool Classroom

Three year olds are in a funny position. They straddle the line between being independent "big kids" and toddlers who still need a bit of help. I love this age! It amazes me each and everyday how much children at this age absorb. One day they can't tell you any of the letters in their name, and the next they can not only spell it, but write it as well! It makes me smile knowing I am sending "my kids" off to the next room with the skills, knowledge and the confidence to continue thriving in their education. Having my Child Development Associates under my belt helps because I am literally putting to use everything I learned in the course every single day. Having most of the credits earned towards a Bachelor's Degree in performing Arts helps to bring out the kid in me and it keeps me on their level of understanding. Everyday is like putting on a show! Each day we set out to do two things: learn something new and have fun while doing it! Is your child up the the challenge?

I wanted to take a minute to thank you and the entire staff for the wonderful care and education you have given to Katie. Her teacher is so impressed with how well-behaved she is in a classroom setting and how much of the curriculum she's already covered with KinderCare!
We couldn't have made a better choice than your KinderCare center for Katie's super-early education and social development and I hope you pass along to your crew how grateful our family is for all of your hard work. I'm always telling people about our outstanding experience with KinderCare (your center in particular) and hopefully that'll translate into a couple of new recruits for you someday.

Thank you again!

- Mother

My son loves coming here and I have watched him learn new words and have seen him try new things that just amaze me. I look forward to seeing the new things he will learn and do in the upcoming year.
