The teachers and staff at the Mountain View KinderCare are passionate about educating and nurturing children. Our teachers have an average tenure of nine years in the early childhood education field. The majority of our teachers have their Child Development Associate Credential (CDA), Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree in early childhood education. The Mountain View KinderCare team strives for excellence through continuing education from biannual company professional development trainings to seeking additional college courses or seminars in the education field. At the end of the day, the true key to our teachers' success is their passion for teaching and their love of learning.
Kathryn Collins, Center Director
Bio:
Kathryn brings classroom and administrative experience to the center. She joined the KinderCare family in 2011. Her Bachelor's Degree in Child and Adolescent Development allows her to connect with the children and their parents. Her Master's Degree in Education Administration allows her to connect with her staff, helping create a nurturing and educational environment at the center. Her favorite part about being Center Director is when she is able to spend time in the classrooms getting to know and working with the children.

Marquela Martinez, Assistant Director
Bio:
Marquela joined KinderCare in 2000 and has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her love for teaching and the children are her motivation for working each day. She loves that she not only impacts the children daily, but has the ability to shape and change their life. She has 26 years of related experience in the early childhood education field.

Ms. Jocelyn, Infant Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Jocelyn joined our KinderCare family in 2007 and works in the infant classroom. She loves being involved with the babies every day. Not only does she love to help the babies grow and develop, she loves what they teach her each day. Her background in early childhood education, along with her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, brings unique insight to the classroom. She has five years of work experience in early childhood education.

Ms. Melinda, Infant Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Melinda is one of our newer infant teachers. With this, she brings fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the classroom. Her goal and love is preparing the children for the next milestones. She works with each baby to help them grow and develop to reach those milestones. She joined the KInderCare family in 2011.

Ms. Teresa, Toddler Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Teresa brings experience to the toddler classroom. She has been working at the center for over 10 years and has 30 years experience working with children. She works with each toddler and his or her parents to accomplish milestones, getting them prepared for preschool. She speaks Spanish fluently.

Ms. Emilie, Toddler Classroom
Bio:
Each child has their own personality and develops their own way. This is something Ms. Emilie has embraced as she loves working with the toddlers to help them grow. Her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Infant and Toddler Development helps her focus specifically on this age group. She has been with KinderCare for two years.

Ms. Judie, Discovery Preschool Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Judie started with KinderCare in 2011. Her favorite part about the discovery preschool class is seeing the children's faces light up every time they learn something new. She uses her Associate's Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences to help each child fully engage in every activity. With her educational background it enables and encourages each child to reach their developmental goals. She has seven years of experience in early childhood education. She also speaks Spanish fluently.

Ms. Christine, Discovery Preschool Classroom and Support Staff
Bio:
Ms. Christine started at KinderCare in 2009. She works in the discovery preschool classroom, while providing support for other classrooms. Her mobility within the center allows her to focus on select areas of interest while in the twos class. She can see what older children are learning to be sure the children in her classroom are prepared. She has completed some Early Childhood Education units towards her Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).

Ms. Rakhee, Discovery Preschool Classroom and Support Staff
Bio:
Ms. Rakhee joined our KinderCare family in 2002. She has 15 years in the early childhood education industry and is able to work with children of all ages. She works mostly with two year-olds in the discovery preschool class, but also works in other classrooms at the center. Her understanding of the milestones that must be met in preschool allows her to focus with the two year-olds.
Ms. Celina, Discovery Preschool Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Celina joined the KinderCare family in 2011. She teaches in the discovery preschool classroom. She loves working with the two year-olds to help them keep learning. Her training in early childhood education and Montessori training lets her understand each child at his or her individual level. She also speaks Spanish fluently.

Ms. Gina joined KinderCare in 2006. Her passion for teaching comes from her love of being able to teach the children new things. With her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and over five years in the early childhood industry, she excels at meeting each child at their individual level.
Ms. Yohana, Preschool Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Yohana has been a part of the KinderCare family since 2009 and she teaches in the preschool class. At this age, it is so exciting to see the children learning and she loves how the children love to learn. With her background in early childhood education, Montessori training, and a certificate for working with special needs families, she is able to partner with families on an individual basis. She has seven years of related experience in the early childhood educational field. She also speaks Spanish fluently.

Ms. Perla, Preschool Classroom

Ms. Perla joined our KinderCare family in 2009. She is passionate about the preschool class because she knows that through her teaching, she is making a difference in the life of a child. With her early childhood education units and enthusiasm for teaching she is prepared every morning to work with all the children. She also speaks Spanish fluently.

Ms. Whitney, Prekindergarten Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Whitney has been with KinderCare since 2010. Her degrees in child development and liberal studies, helped her bring a fresh perspective to the center. She loves working prekindergarteners because of their learning attitude. Ms. Whitney has five years of experience in early education.

Bio:
Ms. LaTasha has worked at this center for over 10 years, since 2001. She currently teaches in our prekindergarten class. Her ability to connect with the children and their parents has created a consistent atmosphere of learning and growing. What she loves most about teaching is being a part of the foundation of her students’ education.

Ms. Rashmi has been a part of the KinderCare family since 2011. As a supporting teacher, she is able to work with all the children at the center. She brings flexible attitude to work where she is needed each day; bringing a fresh, yet known face to the classroom. She loves interacting and teaching children of all ages.

Bio:
As the Learning Adventures teacher, Ms. Sayyede is able to work with the children in small groups. She assists them by helping them with their lessons. She has been with our KinderCare family since 2009.
