Michelle Lowe, Center Director

Bio:

Michelle Lowe earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Hampshire. She has been working at this center since 1989 and has had the opportunity to work with all age groups before becoming part of the management team. She has been the Center Director at this site since June of 2009.

Previous Experience:

Prior to joining KinderCare in 1989, Michelle Lowe was a summer recreation staff member at a different childcare center.

Jenny Demaggio, Assistant Director

Bio:

Jenny DeMaggio has been working at this center for many years and has had many different roles. Jenny has worked with infants, preschool, and prekindergarten age groups as a teacher. In February 2008, Jenny then moved into the Assistant Director position where she wears many hats throughout the day.

Ms. Kayla, Preschool Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Kayla has worked for KinderCare since 2009. She has obtained her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Manchester Community College. Most of her experience is working with three and four year-old children, but she has worked with all ages. She plans on returning to school to complete her Bachelor's Degree.

Previous Experience:

Prior to joining KinderCare in 2009, Ms. Kayla was a Nanny for three summers.

Ms. Desiree, Kindergarten Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Desiree has worked for KinderCare since1993. Although she has had the opportunity to work with each age group, the majority of her time has been devoted to teaching in the kindergarten classroom. You will find her classroom inviting and exciting with enriched learning environments throughout. The schedule is a balance of teacher directed and child selected activities focused around a math, phonics, beginning reading, science and social studies curriculum.

Ms. Hayley, Discovery Preschool Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Hayley received her Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of North Carolina in May 2008. She has also earned a few credits in Early Childhood Education. Her experience with KinderCare began in January 2009 where she became a lead teacher for preschool shortly after her fourth month and helped with the Learning Adventures Enrichment Programs. Currently Hayley works in the discovery preschool classroom where she uses her expertise to provide a positive experience for children. She enjoys being creative and making the classroom a visually stimulating environment.

Previous Experience:

Prior to joining KinderCare in 2011, Ms. Hayley worked at a childcare center for children with autism. She was also a summer nanny.

Ms. Becky, Prekindergarten Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Becky started at this center in 2002. She has loved working with all of the families, children, and staff members at this center. Ms. Becky has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked with all age groups. Her favorite age groups to work with are the three and four-year-olds. She is a very passionate about the way her room appears and makes sure that each area is enhanced to the best of her ability for ultimate learning for the children in her care.

Previous Experience:

Ms. Becky worked as a kindergarten teacher and an Assistant Director at another childcare center before working for KinderCare.

Ms. Nora, Preschool Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Nora started working for KinderCare in 1995. She has worked with children of all ages although most of her experience is working with three and four-year-old children. She earned an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mount Ida College. She loves to travel with her family. They also enjoy skiing, going to the beach, and shopping.

Previous Experience:

Prior to joining KinderCare in 1995, Ms. Nora was a YMCA Camp Counselor.

Ms. Melaudie, Infant Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Melaudie started at this center in February of 2012 and she is enjoying every minute of it. She has her Early Childhood Education Certificate and is working towards obtaining her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Melaudie spends her time at the children's level interacting with them and expanding their knowledge of the world around them.

Previous Experience:

Prior to joining KinderCare in 2012, Ms. Melaudie worked at an in-home childcare center.

Ms. Arlene, Prekindergarten Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Arlene worked for a few years in child care and after having her son, she took a break so that she could spend more time with him. She missed working with children and soon came to KinderCare to get back to teaching. She has been with KinderCare since 2011 and has obtained an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Arlene loves to swim, take pictures and read. She also cherishes the time she spends with her son and husband.

Previous Experience:

Prior to joining KinderCare, Ms. Arlene worked for four years at two other child care centers.

Ms.Rebecca, Toddler Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Rebecca earned her Bachelor's Degree from Keene State College in 2007. She joined the Merrimack KinderCare family as an assistant teacher in May of 2006. During this time, she had the opportunity to work with all age groups. Currently she is the teacher of the busy toddlers classroom where she encourages the children to explore, learn self-help skills, and get messy. She enjoys watching the children master many skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.

Previous Experience:

Ms. Rebecca has two years of student teaching experience prior to joining KinderCare.

Ms. Kim, Discovery Preschool Classroom

Bio:

Ms. Kim works with very busy two-year-olds so there is never a dull moment as there is always something funny happening in her classroom. She tries very hard to make every child feel important and unique. Ms. Kim started working for KinderCare in 2006 and has obtained her Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies. She has also earned six credits in Early Childhood Education studies. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and scrapbooking.

Ms. Kelsey, Discovery Preschool Classroom

Bio:

Ms.Kelsey has been working with the toddlers in the discovery preschool classroom since March of 2011. She has loves learning from her co-teachers and teaching the children in creative ways. Ms. Kelsey is currently working towards obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
