Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

My daughters have been attending the Cary-Grove KinderCare for two years now and have absolutely loved the teachers and the curriculum.  Everyone at the Cary-Grove KinderCare is so supportive of my daughters and genuinely care for all of the children.  My daughters have been to two other childcare facilities before we moved to the area and enrolled at the Cary-Grove KinderCare and this is by far the very best experience we have had!  The teachers and management are absolutely amazing and assure me everyday that my daughters are receiving the best possible care each and every day!

- Mother

I came into need of services from the Cary KinderCare in early 2011.  I was in a unique situation where I had recently started back to nursing school, as well as working part time at Good Shepherd Hospital.  As my children were grown, it seemed the ideal time to focus on my career needs.  However, due to circumstances beyond my control, I needed to take guardianship of my two grandchildren who at the time were ages 18 months and 2 1/2 years.  The professional staff at Cary KinderCare not only helped me in receiving childcare almost immediately, they assisted me in the process of applying and obtaining the state aid grant I was able to receive for my situation.  The crucial assistance allowed me to continue working and going to school.

The staff at the Cary KinderCare, have over the course of the past four years provided committed, compassionate, and consistent care to my two grandchildren.  They have been offered top quality educational and emotional  guidance which has allowed them to grow and succeed both in an academic as well as social setting.  Because of the circumstances surrounding their unique needs, this was crucial in these children being able to have the opportunity to have a "normal" childhood.  I am ever grateful to what the Cary KinderCare has offered to my grandchildren and myself.  I am now just 10 weeks away from graduating nursing school, and my grandchildren know they have a safe environment before and after school to play, laugh, learn, and grow.  Without Cary KinderCare and their committed quality staff I question if my family would have been able to enjoy all the successes and blessings we have.

- Grandmother

I have been so pleased with my 5 month old daughter's experience at KinderCare.  I was hesitant to put my second child in a childcare facility, as I had problems with my older son being at a larger childcare facility.  However, on my first visit I knew that it was the place for my daughter.  The staff was very friendly and really listened to my concerns about my child.  The assured me they would take the best possible care of her and they have.  They keep me updated as to her progress and they get so excited when she makes her milestones.  The teachers are always so happy to see her when I drop off and most importantly she smiles every time she sees them.  It's very clear that Cary KinderCare has worked hard to create a safe and loving environment for the children.  The teachers in the infant room, Ms. Wieslawa and Ms. Lorali, have been incredible and I'm thankful that they love my daughter as much as I do.  Each day I continue to be grateful that I've found such a great place for my daughter.

- Mother

I have had the pleasure to work with the Cary-Grove KinderCare for more than 12 years now.  My children have grown up at this facility.  I am honored to write this letter in reference to the center and it's exceptional staff.  I have never once thought about switching to another childcare provider.  The outstanding staff and management have made this center run smoothly from day to day.  The teacher are well trained and easy to work with , leaving me assured that my child is in good hands and well taken care of while I am at work.  The Cary-Grove KinderCare is always clean, neat, well organized and very dependable.  Their children are their #1 concern and priority.  I am impressed with their ability to enhance my child's education, along with providing a very fun and safe environment.  My daughter is so fond of the center that she sometimes asks to go there on Saturdays.  I know my child will leave this center with very fond memories.

- Mother

Ms. Beata is an excellent teacher and caregiver.  My daughter has learned many new things from her.  Ms. Beata is very warm and my daughter looks forward to seeing her each morning.  Ms. Beata greets my daughter with a warm smile and a big hug, that my daughter just loves.  My daughter is not bothered one bit that I am leaving her there for the day.  It makes me feel good to know that I am leaving her with someone that I trust and respect.  Ms. Beata is compassionate, patient and caring.  All qualities I admire in a teacher and caregiver.  My daughter has excelled since being in her classroom.

- Mother

As a parent of four children and someone who works in the fitness industry, finding safe, enriching and flexible childcare, for an ever changing schedule over the years has been easy with Cary KinderCare.  I have had firsthand experience with the infant, toddler, 2, 3 and 4 year old rooms.  Every classroom has been warm and inviting.  The teachers in each room have provided me with the security that my children are receiving an exceptional, nurturing, academic and social experience!  The infant and toddler room teachers were attentive to so many of the details that surrounds a very young child.  My child was always happy and well taken care of when he/she came to school.  The two year old room has to be the most demanding room in any childcare setting.  I was truly amazed and inspired by how the teachers conducted their classroom and their incredible patience with potty training and temper tantrums that are typical at this age.  I was especially thankful in both the 2 and 3 year old transition, how the teachers handled separation anxiety.  Two of my children had difficulty with this and there was always a teacher to take my child one on one for those first few minutes so he or she could get comfortable with their peers.  There were hugs and smiles that made this difficult time a very quick transition.  I have been extremely please with our 14 year experience with the Cary KinderCare location!  I highly recommend this center and it's staff.
