Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.
Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.
As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.
At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.
As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.
Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.
Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.
Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.
The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.
The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.
Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.
Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.
Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Light and Dark, plus the Sky and Weather
Through shadow play, experiments with flashlights, observing the Sun and more, infants and toddlers will enjoy learning about light and dark this month. Infants continue sensory development by looking at contrasting patterns and at objects that are clearly defined by sharp edges and bright colors, while toddlers will build on their understanding of the light and dark concepts with play around daytime and nighttime. The older Discovery Preschool children will turn their attention to the sky as they learn about weather, the Moon, the Sun, and stars.
Children 4–5 years old: Transportation, Healthy Bodies, and Winter
For children in the Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms, January is filled with variety! They’ll begin by learning about transportation and studying how things get from “here” to “there.” A few weeks later, the focus will shift to health and bodies, with an emphasis placed on how to make good choices for a growing body. Towards the end of the month, children will be introduced to the transformative nature of the winter season and learn how to dress and take care of themselves when it’s cold outside.

I love the process of nurturing and guiding children on the path of learning. The new challenges and adventures that await me everyday inspire me to come to work each day.
Eileen was raised in New Jersey and received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. On a college trip to Europe she met her husband Rod (who is Australian) and she spent time substitute teaching in England. She was married in 1995 and she and her husband moved to Australia for 18 months. She taught 3-5 year old children at a preschool in Sydney. They moved to Colorado in 1998 and settled in Broomfield. They have a daughter who was born in 2001 and a son who was born in 2003. After working in childcare as a preschool teacher, Eileen took a job at a Gifted and Talented elementary school teaching Kindergarten and First grade. In 2006 Eileen joined the team at the Broomfield KinderCare as their Kindergarten teacher. In 2012 Eileen became the Assistant Director at this center. She is thrilled to be in this role leading great teachers to help children reach their full potential.
I love watching the infants grow and learn and to celebrate with them in their accomplishments
My name is Erin and I have been working at the Miramonte KinderCare for the past 5 years! I love working with all children, but my passion is working with infants! I love watching them grow for the first year of their lives and teaching them so many new things! Communication is a huge part in our classroom, and believe it is the foundation for a strong partnership between teachers and parents.
I love the snuggles I get everyday from all my babies
Hi my name is Ms. Kathy! Working at the Miramonte KinderCare has given me the opportunity to work with a variety of age groups! I do enjoy working with all age groups, but find that my passion is working with infants! I couldn't imagine my day without the snuggles and love from all the babies in our classroom! When I am not at work, I love spending time with my sons who are my everything and my faïence!
It is so fun to want the children grow and learn in the infant classroom, they grow so fast!
Hi my name is Ms. Sam. I have been at the Miramonte KinderCare for the past year and a half as one of the infant teachers! I love working with the infants and watching them grow. It is so much fun to see so many "firsts" in our classroom. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with boyfriend and our cat!
I love watching the children lean new things and having fun helping them learn through play!
Hi, my name is Laurie! I have been working at the Miramonte KinderCare for the past 7 years and I love it! I started out working in the toddler room, and then decided to spend some time teaching in the preschool room. I enjoyed working with the preschool children, but noticed I really missed working with the toddlers. When a toddler position opened back up, I knew that it was where I wanted to be! I have spent the past year and a half back with the toddlers and I couldn't be happier!
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my daughter Taylor (who attends KinderCare during school out days) and my husband! We enjoy spending time outdoors and being active with Taylor. I can't wait to meet you and your family!
See all the children run up to me when I get to work in the morning is so amazing, it really starts out any day great!
Hi, my name is Ms.Beth. I have been working at the Miramonte KinderCare for the past 7 months and it is so much fun! I have made friends and created great relationships with the children and families in our classroom. I enjoy closing because it gives me the chance to spend some extra time getting to know families and letting them know about their child's day! When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our fur babies! We have four cats, and they are so much fun!
I love playing with the children and seeing them smile all the time
Hello, My name is Ms. Kayla. I have been working at the Miramonte KinderCare since October of 2014, and I'm currently enrolled in early childhood education classes to further my education. Watching the children in our classroom learn new things is so exciting! I get the best of both worlds being able to teach and support all of the children in our class, but also get to watch my son grow as well! My son Hunter is now transitioning to the toddler classroom from the infant classroom and he is doing so well. As you may have noticed Hunter is my everything and I'm so fortunate to share this journey with him.
The excitement I see when the children in our class learn something new is awesome!
My name is Jamie, and I am a teacher in the Discovery Preschool classroom! Our classroom is super busy, and we are always learning new things! I love helping all the children in our classroom learn new things and accomplish new tasks! When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my three children. My son is currently in first grade and getting so big! I also have two daughters one that is almost 3 and one who is almost 2. They both attend KinderCare and have learned so much already. My son attends the summer program, and can't wait for all the fun field trips. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to watch my children grow while I teach!
The most amazing feeling is knowing you have made a difference in a child's life. There is nothing else like it!
Hello, My name is Ms. Alison. I started working in the discovery preschool classroom with Jamie in February! I have had the opportunity to work with many different age groups and find my passion to be with the toddler/discovery preschool age! They are extremely curious and want to learn everything they can about the world around them. I find it to be an amazing opportunity to work along side the children and their families at our school. When I am not at work I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family.
I love knowing that I am making a difference in their lives and watching them learn and grow.
Hello, My name is Melissa and I am one of the teachers in the preschool room! When I first started at the Miramonte KinderCare I worked in the toddler classroom, after I had my son last July I decided it was time for a change and moved to the preschool classroom! I am having so much fun creating fun activities and watching all the children in our classroom grow! When I am not at work I love spending time with my 9 year old daughter and my 7 month old son! It is amazing to watch them grow together
I love the learning that happens in the early childhood field. The early years of a child's life are so important.
My name is Ms. Randi and I started working at the Miramonte KinderCare in February 2012 in the discovery preschool classroom. I have such a strong love of learning that I wanted to move to the next step and try teaching the preschool children. I work alongside Ms. Melissa and we have a great group of children! They are learning so much and having so much fun doing it. I have two sons who have attended KinderCare since they were very young and they are now in the school age program. They also attend Ms. Amy's learning adventures classes and they have learned so much from her. My husband and I definitely recommend Ms. Amy's classes to everyone! I continually attend early childhood classes to keep up with the new idea that are being presented!
Watching the children in my classroom become independent and successful learners is such a joy
My name is Ms. Stefani, and I started working at the Miramonte KinderCare in May of 2014. I have learned so much from the teachers and children! I love watching the children grow and become independent. Before coming to work for KinderCare I had my own in home childcare, and it can definitely be different at times. I'm enjoying being able to dive deep into the learning aspect of early childhood education and not worry so much about the other aspects of owning my own business. When I'm not at work, I spend time with my family, and researching ways that I can become an even better teacher. I always have an open door policy so please stop by and see what we are all learning!
I love teaching children how important learning is, by making it fun and exciting.
Hello, My name is Ms. Mary and I have been working at the Miramonte KinderCare for the past 15 years. I love working with the pre-kindergarten children, and getting them ready for kindergarten. Creating and after school program that captures the interest of the children is so fun and challenging
My name is Ms. Gloria and I have been working with KinderCare for 15 years! I originally worked at the KinderCare in Lafayette and was able to transfer to the KinderCare in Broomfield when our center merged with Broomfield. A lot of the families from the Lafayette center were able to transfer here as well. I have had a great time meeting new families and creating new relationships while strengthening the ones I have already made. When I am not working I spend time with family and friends.
I absolutely love my job and enjoy learning so many new things from the children
Hello, my name is Christy and I have been working at the Miramonte KinderCare for 6 years! I work with the school age children in the afternoons. I have the amazing opportunity to work with the rest of the children during the day when the school age children are at school! I currently teach our music class and will be starting up a cooking class as well. Please come by so we can chat about all the learning opportunities that music and cooking can add to your child's life! When I am not at work, I like to spend time with my family and faïence

My name is Ms. Amy! I have been working at the Miramonte KinderCare for the past 6 years as the learning adventures teacher. In addition to the awesome curriculum that we have, we also offer additional learning classes during the day. I teach phonics, math and reading in smaller ratios as an enhancement to the learning going on in all the classrooms already! I can't wait to meet you and your family, and tell you so much more about my amazing programs!
Watching the children grow and learn each day is exciting
Hello, My name is Eileen! I have worked for the Miramonte KinderCare for the past 15 years. I originally started off as the Discovery Preschool classroom, and had an amazing classroom! a few years ago I took some time off and when I came back decided I wanted to work less, and spend more time with my family. I decided that spending time with all the children in all the classrooms would be a fun experience. That is when I started helping out with lunch breaks and covering vacations! It is such a great opportunity to touch so many children's lives, and create such special bonds with both children and their families! Typically you can find me in the Discovery Preschool classroom in the mornings.
I love to see the children's face when they accomplish their task
My name is Ms.Judi and I love working at KinderCare! I have the amazing job of being able to spend time in all the classrooms! I get to create so many relationships with all the children and their families because I have the opportunity to speed time with everyone! Typically you will find me in the toddler room in the mornings, and then helping cover lunch breaks and vacations during the day! When I am not at KinderCare I am spending time with my husband, our children and grandchildren and our fur babies! I love taking our doggies to the dog park and traveling!
Watching all the different milestones a child reaches is so fun and to know you are a part of it, makes it amazing
Hi my name is Ms. Jessica and I have been working at the Miramonte KinderCare since September of 2013. I have the neat job of being able to spend time in all the classrooms and watch children develop at different levels. I believe it takes a special person to go from being a toddler teacher at one moment and then a school age teacher the next. You end up having an amazing knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices! I love being able to build relationships with everyone in the school and know all the children! During my time away from the center I enjoy spending time with family and my faïence. We are currently planning our wedding, which has been so much fun!
It is so rewarding to do this everyday!
My name is Ms. Tracy! I do a little bit of everything at the Miramonte KinderCare! I help out in classrooms, I've taught our Learning Adventures program, I drive the bus, and I am known as the Miramonte Chef! Meals are such an important part of the children's day, and I love making sure they are getting the most nutritious meals out there! It brightens up my day when I walk into the classroom with lunch and the children are so excited! I have two sons who currently attend public schools in the area and I love spending time with them. We are really into soccer!
Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Family, Friends, and Things that Go!
Infants and toddlers will be exploring family and friends, while three-year-olds will focus on things that go vroom! Social and emotional development is foundational to growth and development in babies, so this month, infants and toddlers will participate in activities that reinforce their connection to family while also exploring connections that exist outside their home, such as friends. Meanwhile, their older friends in Discovery Preschool will learn about and play around with things that move (like bicycles, cars, buses, trains, and airplanes), which are all very exciting for little ones as they continue to explore the world outside their homes.
Children 4–5 years old: My Country + Tools and Machines
The four- and five-year-olds continue exploring the world around them by learning about the state and country they live in! They’ll sings songs, play games based on travel, and learn about flags, state foods, and more. Children will also be introduced to cardinal directions (east, west, north, and south) and gain an appreciation for travel and meeting new friends from different places.
Children are naturally fascinated with machines and how things work and are put together. So to encourage that fascination, during the second half of this month children will learn about and play around with tools and machines. In addition to building literacy skills by using the names of machines and tools, children will develop math skills by graphing information, counting wheels, and more.
We are your home away from home! We take emence pride in providing quality care to every family we work with! Our main goal is to provide meaningful experiences for children and thier families that will last a lifetime! We can not wait for you to join the Miramonte KinderCare family!
