AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Japanese Adventures, Active Adventures

Teachers & Staff

KinderCare teachers are passionate about your child's happiness and growth and provide a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem. This is more than a job for our teachers. It’s an opportunity for them to share their passion for life while they inspire, engage, and awaken the wonder inside each and every child. We are proud of the work we do every day, and can't wait to have you join our KinderCare family!

September's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Spaces and Places and All About Me
As infants and toddlers explore the spaces and places around them, children in Discovery Preschool will learn all about what makes people the same as well as what makes them different. Infants will experiment with moving toy cars around, build block towers and then knock them down, and even take a tour of the center to see what things are like outside of their classroom! Toddlers will get all revved up as they take a closer look at different vehicles and learn more about neighborhoods, communities, and the jobs that grownups have. In Discovery Preschool, children will be learning about themselves as they play games that strengthen their five senses, discuss feelings and emotions, practice self-help skills, and work on learning the names of body parts.

Children 4 to 5 years old: All About Me and My Home and Family
It’s the beginning of the school year—the perfect time to get to know each other better! Older children will be spending time sharing about themselves, their homes, and their families as they learn what makes people the same and what makes them different. Children will bring their own experiences to the drawing board as they create group stories and 3-D collages about families and homes, pantomime different home- and family-related activities, and draw self-portraits. With our curriculum’s project-related learning component, children in Transitional Kindergarten work together to decide on an individual or whole-group project related to the theme. Past projects have included creating a class book about emotions or working together to build a small-scale home, but who knows—the children may come up with a unique idea that’s entirely their own!

Health and Safety

Keeping your child safe and secure is our first priority. Our center is equipped with a keypad security system at the front door, which only enrolled families have the code needed to enter. For added security, this code is changed periodically. In addition, we ensure security by strictly following established procedures for your child’s arrival and departure. All children will be signed in and out on our Child Supervision Records system, and other attendance procedures are also followed in accordance with state child care licensing regulations. We value your child’s health and recognize the importance of cleanliness. We use EcoLab products for cleaning and sanitizing, which involves the staff following a daily cleaning checklist to ensure all areas of the classroom are being cleaned on a regular basis. We also know preventing the spread of infectious diseases is an important and necessary component of quality child care. We actively strive to monitor the health and well-being of all children in our care. If a child is recognized as having certain communicable diseases, necessary control measures will be followed, including notifying you of any instances of a contagious disease in the center. All of our staff is CPR and First Aid certified, as well as trained in Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I was very nervous about my daughter starting at a new daycare because I was so comfortable with the last. I couldn't be more happy with this KinderCare. My daughter has learned so much in such a short time. Her speech has improved, she knows how to spell and write her name (and she's four), and they have so many activities that she is involved in, like cooking, phonics, and math. To top it off, the teachers are extremely nice! I highly recommend this daycare!

- Mother

It is hard to put into words how wonderful Bluemound Road KinderCare has been for my family! From the moment that we stepped foot into the facility when we were just expecting our daughter, we were greeted with open arms. Every member of the staff was (and continues to be) welcoming, kind, and warm, and the facility is always clean and inviting. Our daughter started attending daycare when she was three months old and is now a little over two years old. She is so excited to go to school every day and is constantly talking about her teachers and friends at home. It warms my heart to watch her interact with not only her current teachers, but also past and future teachers and the Directors. They have a specific curriculum for each classroom and have constant open communication with my husband and I regarding her development. No question or concern is too small and they are always willing to take extra time out of their day to sit down and meet with us. The center is continuously making learning fun with theme weeks, dress-up days, and special learning programs. I can’t say enough about how much she has thrived in this environment. We are currently expecting our second child and we are excited that this baby will also be joining the KinderCare family. These teachers and staff at KinderCare are truly family to us and we will forever be grateful for how they have assisted in building a solid foundation for our daughter. I know each day when I drop her off that she is in the best place for her and is beyond loved.

- Mother

Our son has been at KinderCare for three years and we have always been happy with that decision. The teachers are so attentive to each child's learning level and needs. Our son is continually surprising us with the things he has learned during the day. It is a well-run center and we are glad our son has the opportunity to be a part of it.

- Mother

Putting our children in daycare with my son being only four months old, unable to talk or fend for himself, was an incredibly scary idea. I had faith my daughter would tell me if she had a problem, but after our tour where she cried because we couldn’t stay longer, I wasn’t too worried about her! After the first drop off (crying in the parking lot and a phone call or seven later), I got very comfortable in the care they were being given. I’ve seen such growth in my daughter's vocabulary and social skills, and the fact that she asks if she gets to go to school each day and doesn’t cling to us at drop-off confirms just how well she is treated! As for my son, my fears for his care left as quickly as they came. When I watched every person in his room care for him as if he was related to them--whether it was his severe diaper rash or teething issues--the smiles he shares each time he sees Ms. Lauri or Ms. Jennifer inside and outside of the center, proves he knows who’s on his side! As I said, the need for daycare was something we didn’t expect, so being able to remove them should be an easy decision--you would think--but I want you to know as I sit here writing this letter, a little emotional, as our family needs have changed, that it's been an extremely hard decision to make. I’ve shared milestones with this group of people that my family, who live far away, have missed! I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful care they have given my children. We will miss them all! I am truly grateful for the open communication and flexibility the administrators both have given me and my family. Thank you so much, Bluemound Road KinderCare!
