When it comes to school age care make Kids Choice your first choice! We are one of only five unique school age only programs within KinderCare Education. The kids club environment engages all ages through socialization, multimedia experiences, fine arts, academics and athletic activities.

Welcome to Bartlett Commons Kids Choice in Bartlett Illinois. We have proudly been serving Bartlett families since April 11th, 1994. We are very excited to meet with you and your family.  Kids Choice specializes in children ages 5 to 12. We believe in developing the whole child socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. We give children an opportunity to learn new things in a super fun way! Here at Kids Choice the children are grouped by age and they have 5 rooms that they will rotate into weekly. We have a teacher run homework room available for after school. Flexible schedules are not a problem, including drop in days when U-46 does not have school. Our rotating student council chooses themed activities that is developed specifically from our experts. Kids Choice is a place that the kids choose to be and the place that parents want them to be. Thank you for choosing us and we look forward to long, happy years together.

Our Programs

Private Kindergarten Programs (5 – 6 Years)

As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Each day that Dawn goes to work she knows that she will make an impact on a child and or family–what an awesome responsibility! She lives in the same town that she works in and loves to attend the students baseball, football, cheerleading, and many more activities that they participate in outside the center. Health and Safety

At Kid's Choice, the safety of our children and the confidence of our parents are points of pride. From daily sign-in to strict parent / guardian identification and single keypad access.  We maintain a rigorous standard for safety, here at the center, and while transporting children.  Plus our daily cleanliness and maintenance schedules leave nothing at all to chance.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

Today is my daughters last day at Kid's Choice she has aged out of their program (she is 12 years old) after going here since before 1st grade. This is a very sad day for us because we feel like we are losing part of our family.
The teachers are amazing people who care so much for the kids. Always making sure they are having a good time with plenty of activities to do. It doesn't matter if it's after school, days off of school, or the summer the kids always have a great time at Kid's Choice. The teachers are always involved with the kids. I cant tell you how many times I have walked in to pick up my daughter to find her playing a game with the teachers or even just talking with them. The teachers truly care about all of the children here and treat them with such love and respect. Not only do you have a great set of teachers but the director is also an amazing person. Dawn always greets everyone with a big hello and a smile again I cant tell you how many times I have walked in to see her sitting talking with the kids or playing a game with them.
The summer program is also amazing they work very hard to find fun activities for the kids to do from fun crafts to the talent show to the field trips. My daughter always comes home happy and exhausted from fun filled day.
Thank you KinderCare for giving my daughter a great place to spend her after school and summers at. And thank you for giving my family a place we knew would take great care of our daughter (like we would) while we were at work. This center is truly amazing!

- Mother

"From the close friends she has made, to the touching relationships she has with the center, caregivers, Kids Choice is an important part of my daughters life.  Of course she enjoys all the rooms, activities and opportunities to be a social butterfly. Important to me is the daily emphasis on homework and reading.  And this year, with the help of daily Math tutoring, she moved from the mid level math class at school to the highest level group!"
"As a full time working parent outside the home, it is so reassuring to know that the kids are in safe hands, and those safe hands truly value and care about your children."

- Mother

This facility is awesome - I couldn't ask for better teachers or a director to step into my place while I am at work...You guys rock!!! A million "THANK YOU'S" for being there when I cannot!
