The Addison KinderCare teachers and staff are a warm, welcoming and nurturing team. We have teachers and staff who bring experience and know-how and have been in the early childhood education field for over 20 years; we also have teachers and staff that are new to the field who bring energy and an excitement of learning for themselves and the children. Susan has been with KinderCare for over twenty years. She has been a teacher, Assistant Director, Director and peer trainer. Susan has been at the Addison KinderCare for over three years and has built a team environment with teachers who are caring, nurturing and knowledgeable. Her commitment to a quality, warm, learning environment where children thrive can be seen in her every day interactions with children, teachers and families. Susan is also part of the Addison Early Childhood Collaborative and works in the community to help bring awareness to the importance of quality Early Childhood Education.
Before working at KinderCare, Susan had also worked with the Girl Scouts, babysat and was an assistant teacher at a small Preschool.
Ms. Susan's favorite children's book is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom because it teaches the alphabet in a fun way!

Ms. Latasha has 2 children and 2 step children. She enjoys spending time with family, sewing, reading and vacationing with her family.
Before working at KinderCare, Ms. Latasha was a tutor for children aged 3-13. She also has worked in early childhood education for over 8 years.
Ms. Latasha's favorite children's book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" by Eric Carle vecause she is a visual learner and in the story, colors are being taught by things you can see.

Ms. Farhat has been with KinderCare for over 2 years. In that time she was the two year old teacher and is now our Learning Adventures teacher and Program specialist. She is passionate about working with children because they are at a critical age of their development and this places a huge responsibility on their care givers. Watching them grow and learn is extremely meaningful and rewarding.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Farhat had worked in other schools and preschools for over 20 years.
Ms. Farhat's favorite children's book is "The Little Engine that Could". It is an inspiring story about a little engine that keeps his focus, and keeps telling himself "I think I can, I think I can". It leaves an encouraging message of how important it is to be determined and never stop trying.
"This is the most rewarding job! Watching every child reach new milestones as they grow and knowing I am a part of it makes me enjoy everyday with them."
Ms. Marge has been with KinderCare since 2010 and plans on continuing her career with us. She continues to further her education in Early Childhood at Rasmussen College. She hopes that the most unique thing she does in her classroom is to give the parents a sense of calmness knowing that their child is well taken care of with as much love as if they were at home. Additionally you should know that Mrs. Marge is one of our center's back up manager as well as our Health and Safety Coordinator.
Before working at KinderCare, Ms. Marge has worked with preschool aged children as well as with hearing impaired 2 year old children. She is also the mother to 2 wonderful children.
Ms. Marge's favorite children's book is "Pat the Bunny" because it's such a great book for infants and toddlers.
"I just love being around children and making a difference in their lives!"
Ms. Filomena has been working at KinderCare for over 17 years! She has just received her Child Development Associate through Rasmussen College. Her passion is to teach and dedicate her time to caring, loving and nurturing young children in a safe environment. During the day Ms. Filomena and her infant class read books, sing songs, dance, explore new things and help the children to use their imagination!
Before working at KinderCare, Filomena worked at the library of a middle school. She is also the mother to 3 wonderful children.
Ms. Filomena's favorite children's book is "Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom" because it is such a fun story to tell.
"I love to see that I am changing a child's life by teaching them new things. Being able to see their smiles is priceless."
In high school Ms. Alisha took a preschool class that she loved so much she decided to make early childhood education her career! She has been with KinderCare since 2010 and she received her Child Development Associate in 2011 from Rasmussen College. She also studied at the Art Institute in 2008. Ms. Alisha loves working with the families of the children she cares for to help in their child's development. The best part of Ms. Alisha's day is making the children smile; whether from her making silly faces or just smiling at them herself.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Alisha took a preschool class in high school. She also is the mother to a wonderful daughter and has many nieces and nephews she babysits for.
Ms. Alisha's favorite children's book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" because it is a very cute story.
"I love being able to teach toddlers their colors, body parts, shapes and other essentials of being a toddler. My passion is knowing they are learning."
Ms. Sammy has been with KinderCare since 2008. She toook classes in Early Childhood Education and has her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Including program activities, Ms. Sammy includes enhancements in the daily routine that reflect the theme of the month. She really likes to keep the children active and excited to come to school.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Sammy was a leader for the Junior Environmental Team. She is also the mother to a wonderful daughter.
Ms. Sammy's favorite children's books are Dr. Seuss books because they are fun!

Ms. Ashley loves working with children. She has been at KinderCare for a short time but enjoys working here. The unique thing she does in her class is having small groups. This way she ensures the children are getting attention, they are safe and having fun while learning.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Ashley worked in another daycare for 8 years.
"I love my job because I love children and love having the ability to work with them. I love watching them grow and I am passionate about meeting new children."
Ms. Yasmeen loves working with children because it's a pleasure to see them grow and learn. She has previous experience working as an assistant teacher where she read to children, played games with them and helped them develop.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Yasmeen worked at another childcare as well as she babysat for family and friends.
"I love children and enjoy working with them each day!"
Although, Ms. Angela is new to the field of childcare, she has a lot of passion and energy and is wonderful with the children. She has a daughter of her own who attends a KinderCare closer to her house.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Angela has babysat for friends and family. She is also the mother to a wonderful daughter.
Ms. Angela's favorite children's book is "Green Eggs and Ham" because it brings back childhood memories.

Miss Kim is from Franklin Park. She has 2 brothers and 1 sister. In her spare time, she loves playing with her nieces and nephews and hanging out with her 2 dogs.
Before starting at KinderCare, Miss Kim volunteered with the girl scouts.
Miss Kim's favorite children's book is "The Giving Tree" because it teaches you that you can give without getting anything in return and feel good.
"I like to teach children and watch them grow and learn"
Ms. Karina is very friendly, acitive and positive She always tries to do what's best for the children in her care. Ms. Karina has earned her family childcare Child Development Associate and is planning on taking college classes.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Karina worked in another childcare. She is also the mother to 2 wonderful boys.
Ms. Karina's favorite children's book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" because it talks about life changes.
"It feels good to be part of a child's development."
Before starting back with KinderCare, Miss Noemi worked here before in 2013. She has also worked with children in the medical field. Miss Noemi speaks two other languages and is a certified translator. She also loves sports and has 2 dogs.
Ms. Noemi's favorite children's books are the "Magic Treehouse" series. The books are full of adventure, imagination and filled with facts for children.

Ms. Anna has been working at KinderCare since 2000. When she was in highschool she took an early child development class. She has earned her Child Development Associate from Ellis University. She loves to make the day fun and exciting for the children in her classroom. She loves to make them laugh and make learning fun.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Anna had babysat for her nieces and nephews.
Ms. Anna's favorite children's book is "Corduroy" because it's a story about setting goals and reaching them; but also about love.
"Working with children is always an incredible experience."
Mr. Christian is a very responsible and professional teacher. He is always willing to learn new things every day to better himself. He loves children and loves teaching them. Mr. Christian moved to Illinois from Puerto Rico in 2014.
Before starting at KinderCare, Mr. Christian worked in Puerto Rico with 3-5 year old children.
Mr. Christian's favorite book is "Mi Primer Libro de Trazos" (My First Book of Lines) because it's an excellent book for preschool children as they get to use their creativity.

Miss Jackie has been with KinderCare since 2013. She has worked in preschool and school age classrooms. She loves being a teacher and engaging the children in different activities. Miss Jackie graduated from the City Colleges of Chicago with an Associate's Degree of Arts.
Before working for KinderCare, Miss Jackie was a nanny for 6 years and worked in another daycare for 4 years.
Ms. Jackie's favorite children's book is "The Cat in the Hat" because she likes the characters and the plot.
"Working with children can be tough at times, but it is more rewarding at the end."
Miss Jessica really enjoys working with children. She says teaching them new things and watching them learn is her passion!
Before starting with KinderCare, Miss Jessica babysat and was an assistant teacher at an afterschool program with grade school children.
Miss Jessica's favorite children's book is "I Love You Forever" because she used to read it aloud as a child and it's a very cute story.

Ms. Susan is a compassionate and caring teacher. She sees to it that the children in her charge are well taken care of; not only their basic needs but also their emotional and social needs. Currently she works in all classrooms and gets along well with all of the other teachers as well as the parents. Ms. Susan also currently works at a high school as a special education assistant.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Susan worked as a Sunday school. Ms. Susan is also the mother to 3 wonderful boys.

Miss Lyanne's goal is to become an elementary school teacher in the near future. She wants to create a nurturing environment for her students. She also hopes to travel to different places in the world.
Before starting with KinderCare, Miss Lyanne worked at another childcare center, volunteered at her church's preschool, and babysat for children of all ages.
Miss Lyanne's favorite children's book is "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss because it has such an excellent moral to the story.

Before starting at KinderCare, Miss Rubiela has babysat for family and taught at the preschool at her high school.
Rubiela's favorite children's book is "There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" because she finds the book to be funny.
"I love cooking and I believe this is the perfect job for me."
Ms. Karina has been working with people all her life. She is a very caring and outgoing person. She loves working with children and preparing healthy meals for them to help them grow.
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Karina worked for a school. She is also the mother to 2 wonderful boys.
Ms. Karina's favorite children's book is "Beauty and the Beast" because it shows there is love in everyone not matter their physical appearance.
