How we begin the process

We understand that your needs are specific to your employee mix and their changing needs. So we work with you to jointly design the right program with the optimal mix of back-up care options to suit your financial needs and meet your employees' care needs.

Once your program is up and running, your employees can reserve care by phone, online, or with an app. Requesting service online is available 24/7/365.

Back-Up Care services 

Life’s interruptions shouldn’t stop working families from getting the care they need. Our in-center and in-home back-up care services—offered in partnership with—provide coverage options for children and adults when regular care arrangements aren’t available. This comprehensive back-up care program includes:

  • In-center back-up care for children 6 weeks to 12 years old through KCE’s 1,400+ wholly owned and operated centers
  • In-home child care for sick or well children provided by highly vetted caregivers
  • In-home adult care for elders, spouses, adult children, and employees themselves, provided by a network of highly vetted partners

Plus, all our back-up care programs come with detailed monthly utilization reports to help you drive your business goals. Understand who is using the program and why, so you can track ROI and prove the program’s value to your internal stakeholders. 

How we offer ongoing support

A dedicated Account Executive will partner with you to assess the program performance and address questions.

With our monthly reports, you get full visibility to see the number of days that your workforce uses the program and, by extension, measure the reduction of absenteeism for immediate ROI.
