Try this Innovative Fruit Recipe for Your Picky Eater

Who said nachos had to be made with chips? J Here is a fun recipe you can make with your kids.  It is a great way to use all of your fresh fruits and some pantry items.  Kids will have so much fun with this.


Sliced apples or pears

Diced fruit (can include peaches, pears, oranges, berries, or bananas)

Raisins and/or Craisins

Yogurt (any flavor)

Chocolate or white chocolate chips

Honey (for kids over 1 year)


1.)    Slice apples or pears into slices and lay on plate.

2.)    Have kids help drizzle yogurt and honey on apples or pears. (Remember, only serve honey to kids over 1 years old!)

3.)    Have kids dice (with a plastic knife) fruit of choice.

4.)    Top apples/pears with diced fruit, dried fruit, seeds, or chocolate chips.
