New Video, Open House Events, and a Sweepstakes…Oh, My!

We’ve been extremely busy around here getting ready for Back-to-School season. We have a brand new video that shows KinderCare’s perspective on “what learning looks like” that makes me cry every time I watch it; national Open House events at our centers on July 11 and August 13; and finally, but perhaps most importantly for new families, an incredible Back-to-School sweepstakes opportunity. Read on for all the details…

New Video: What Learning Looks Like

The new KinderCare video stars adorable children from our centers. I love how the video illustrates the wonder of childhood and all the different aspects of early childhood education, from building brain power and growing a healthy body to making new friends and developing lasting life skills. The moment at which I suddenly “have something in my eye,” every time, is about 45 seconds in.

Open House Events

We’re holding Open House events at all of our KinderCare centers tomorrow, July 11 and Tuesday, August 13. The theme for tomorrow’s event is Health and Wellness, and we’ll have community partners and great health and wellness content available at our centers for current families and new families who come to take a tour. Our August event theme is “Learning Moments” and will focus on how children can learn from everyday activities, like going to the grocery store, and how parents can build more learning moments into their child’s day.

Back-to-School Sweepstakes

This week we announced our first-ever Back-to-School sweepstakes*, which will award five lucky families an unprecedented prize – a year of free tuition at a KinderCare or Knowledge Beginnings center*. From now through October 18, 2013, new families who visit any participating KinderCare or Knowledge Beginnings Center and take a tour will automatically be entered to win one of five grand prizes: a scholarship for one calendar year of KinderCare or Knowledge Beginnings services for one child.
