Awards Recognize Outstanding Teachers at KinderCare® Learning Centers and CCLC® (Childrens Creative Learning Centers) Who Demonstrate Excellence in Early Childhood Education
Portland, Ore. (Oct 31, 2013) – Knowledge Universe, a leader in early childhood education for more than 40 years, today surprised a preschool teacher at West Linn KinderCare in West Linn, Oregon with a $10,000 check and the company’s coveted Early Childhood Educator Award. Ms. Tena Christianson, the tenth and final award winner for 2013, was presented with the award in front of students, teaching colleagues and executive leaders who value her teaching abilities and dedication to her classroom.
The Knowledge Universe Early Childhood Educator Awards annually recognizes teachers who demonstrate exceptional skills in teaching young children. Recipients are nominated and chosen without their knowledge from nearly 25,000 early childhood educators within the CCLC, KinderCare and Knowledge Beginnings family of companies.
